단면이 각각 2등변 삼각형 모양인 삼각기둥 형태의 투명 수위검출관(2′)의 측부에 발광부(5)와 수광부(6)로 구성된 센서(7)를 부설하여 수위검출관(2′)의 내부에 물이 차게되면 발광부(5)로 부터의 빛이 수위검출관(2′)에서 전반사되어 수광부(6)를 통해 수광되게 함을 특징으로 하는 수위검출장치.
