본 고안은 동파이프 연결장치에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a copper pipe connecting device.
근래 배관재로서 동파이프의 사용이 널리 권장되고 있으나 동파이프는 합성수지관이나 철관에 비해 두께가 매우 얇아서 이를 연결하는 경우 관에 나사산을 형성시킬 수가 업기 때문에 통상적인 수지관이나 철관 연결방식으로는 관연결이 불가능하여 용접방식에 의하여 파이프를 연결하게 되었다.In recent years, copper pipes have been widely used as piping materials. 연결구본체(1)의 양단부에 좌·우대칭형의 나사부(3)를 갖는 접속부(2)를 형성하여 접속부(2) 내주면에 단턱(4)과 경사면(5)을 형성하고, 접속부(2) 내에 동파이프(6)의 접속단부를 삽입한 후 경사면(5)과 동파이프(6) 외주면 사이에 경사면(7')을 갖는 고무패킹(7)을 개재시키고 접속부(2)의 나사부(3)에 나사부(9)를 갖는 캡(8)을 체착하여 연결구본체(1)와 동파이프(6)를 접속고정되게한 것에 있어서, 접속시킬 동파이프(6)의 접속단부에 미리 열수축성수지로된 관상패킹(10)을 끼워 관상패킹(10) 내주면이 동파이프(6) 외주면에 긴밀히 밀착되도록 형성한 후 이 관상패킹(10)이 삽입된 동파이프(6)를 연결구 본체(1)의 접속부(2)에 삽입하고 관상패킹(10)의 외주면이 고무패킹(7)에 의해 밀폐 협지되도록 캡(8)을 체착하여서 된 것으로, 이와 같은 본 고안은 동파이프(6)의 연결시공시 연결단부 외주면에 미리 관상패킹(10)을 끼워 넣고 가열하면 열수축성 수지로 된 관상패킹(10)이 외주면으로 수축 밀착되면서 동파이프(6)와 관상패킹(10) 사이로는 수밀성이 보지되도록 거의 일체화가 되고 다음에 이 접속단부를 연결구본체(1)의 접속부(2) 내로 삽입하면 동파이프(6)의 단부가 단턱(4)에 지지됨과 동시 관상패킹(10)의 외주면이 접속부(2) 내주면에 지지되며 이후 접속부(2)의 경사면(5)에 경사면(7')이 접촉되도록 고무패킹(7)을 끼운후 나사부(3)의 나사부(9)를 이용하여 캡(8)을 조이면 캡(8)이 고무 패킹(7)을 내측으로 가압함에 따라 관상패킹(10) 외주면과 접속부(2) 내주면 사이가 밀폐됨과 함께 고무패킹(7)이 경사면(7')과 접속부(2)의 경사면(4)에 의해 관상패킹(10)을 긴밀히 협지하게 되어 동파이프(6)를 접속부(2) 내에 고정시켜 주므로 관의 연결이 완료되게 된다.A connecting portion 2 having left and right symmetrical screw portions 3 is formed at both ends of the connector body 1 to form a step 4 and an inclined surface 5 on the inner circumferential surface of the connecting portion 2, and within the connecting portion 2. 따라서 이와 같은 본 고안에 의하면 동파이프를 용접에 의하지 않고 연결구로 연결시킬 때 미리 파이프 외주면에 열수축성 수지로 된 관상패킹을 개재시켜 일체화시킨 후 접속부에 끼우도록 형성하므로서 관과 접속부와의 접속력을 강화하게 되어 관이 수압으로 인해 접속부에서 밀려나는 것이 방지되고 또한 누수도 방지되므로 동파이프를 용접하지 않고도 간편히 연결 시공할 수 있는 대다가 연결상태가 확실하도록 시공할 수가 있어서 시공비를 크게 절감할 수 있게 되며, 또한 동파이프에 하등의 손상을 입히지 않게 되므로 배관의 수명도 오래 가게 되는 등 제반의 개선된 효과를 나타내게 된다.Therefore, according to the present invention, when the copper pipe is connected by a connector without welding, the connecting force between the pipe and the connecting part is formed by integrating the tubular packing made of heat-shrinkable resin on the outer circumferential surface of the pipe and inserting it into the connecting part.
