본 고안은 누수방지용 나사식 고무링에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a threaded rubber ring for preventing leakage.
종래에도 파이프를 연결할 때 누수방지를 위하여 파이프와 파이프 연결소켓 사이에 누수방지용 고무패킹 등이 사용되어 왔으나, 이는 파이프의 끝부분에 단순히 홈을 형성하여 고무패킹을 끼운 후 연결소켓으로 연결하여 왔던 것으로 이는 파이프의 홈에 고무패킹을 어느 정도 신축 시킨 후 파이프의 홈에 끼우게 되어 있음으로 끼우기가 불편할 뿐만 아니라 이때 이미 고무패킹은 약간 늘어난 상태가 되고 설치후에도 장기간 사용시에는 계속되는 물의 압력에 고무패킹과 파이프 사이에 틈이 생기게 되어 완벽하게 누수를 방지하는데 미흡하였고, 파이프와 연결소켓을 나사식으로 결합하여 파이프와 연결소켓이 맞닿는 부분에 고무패킹을 단순히 끼워 놓는 것도 있으나, 이 역시 장기간 사용시에는 파이프와 연결소켓사이가 벌어짐으로서 누수가 발생하게 되는 것으로 본 고안은 나사식으로 된 고무링을 나선형 파이프에 먼저 틈이 발생하지 않게끔 나사식으로 꼭 끼운 후 다시 연결소켓으로 나사식 고무링을 가압하면서 꼭 끼우므로서 누수방지에 완벽을 기하고자 하는 것으로로 첨부된 도면에 의하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.Conventionally, a rubber seal for preventing leakage has been used between the pipe and the pipe connecting socket to prevent leakage when connecting the pipe, but this has been connected to the connecting socket after the rubber packing is simply formed by forming a groove at the end of the pipe.
