Claims (12)

  1. 질소원자에 브롬 치환된 지방족 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 탄화수소 라디칼이 부착된 불포화 사이클릭 이미드 5 내지 25몰%(중합된 총 단량체 기준)가 중합된 모노알케닐 방향족 중합체로 이루어진 중합체 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 중합된 총 단량체를 기준으로 5 내지 50몰%의 에틸레성 불포화 무수물이 추가로 더 중합된 모노알케닐 방향족 중합체로 이루어진 조성물.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 모노알케닐 방향족 중합체가 스티레으로 이루어지는 조성물.
  4. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 이미드가 말레이드인 조성물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 브롬 치환된 지방족 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 지방족 탄화수소 라디칼이 2,4,5-트리브로모벤질 라디칼인 조성물.
  6. 공중합체가 심하게 분해되는 온도 이하의 온도에서 및 공중합체에 존재하는 유효량의 에틸레성 불포화 무수물이 이미드로 전환되기에 충분한 시간동안, 모노알케닐 방향족 단량체와 에틸레성 불포화 무수물의 중합체를 브롬화 1급 지방족 아민 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 지방족 1급 아민과 용융혼합시킴을 특징으로하여, 질소원자에 브롬 치환된 지방족 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 탄화수소 라디칼이 부착된 불포화 사이클릭 이미드 5 내지 25몰%(중합된 총단량체 기준)가 중합된 모노알케닐 방향족 중합체로 이루어진 중합체 조성물을 제조하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 모노알케닐 방향족 단량체가 스티레인 방법.
  8. 제6항 또는 7항에 있어서, 에틸레성 불포화 무수물이 무수 말레산인 방법.
  9. 제6항에 있어서, 이미드로 전환되는 유효량의 무수물이 공증합체에 중합된 총단량체를 기준으로 5 내지 25몰%인 방법.
  10. 제6항 또는 9항에 있어서, 브롬화 1급 지방족아민 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 지방족 1급 아민이 2,4,5-트리브로모벤질아민인 방법.
  11. 적어도 일부분의 에틸레성 불포화 무수물을 브롬화 1급 지방족 아민 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 지방족 1급 아민과 반응시키기에 충분한 시간동안 에틸레성 불포화 무수물을 동몰량 이상의 브롬화 1급 지방족 아민 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 지방족 1급 아민과 반응시켜 아미드를 생성시킨 다음, 생성된 이미드를 모노알케닐 방향족 단량체와 중합시킴을 특징으로 하여, 질소원자에 브롬 치환된 지방족 또는 브롬화-방향족 치환된 탄화수소 라디칼이 부착된 불포화 사이클릭 이미드 5 내지 25몰%(중합된 총단량체 기준)가 중합된 모노알케닐 방향족 중합체로 이루어진 중합체 조성물을 제조하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 질소원자에 2,4,5-트리브로모벤질 라디칼이 부착된 포말말레이미드 5 내지 25몰%가 중합된 스티레으로 이루어진 조성물.
