Claims (11)

  1. 알카리금속 잔류물을 함유하는 입자가 생성되고, 알칼리금속 함유 촉매 존재하에 고체 탄소질 원료를 액체 및/또는 기체로 전환하는 방법에 있어서,
    (a) 상기 입자로부터 수용성 알카리금속 성분을 제거하므로써 알카리금속 성분이 풍부한 수용액을 만들기 위해 알카리금속 잔류물을 함유하는 입자를물 또는 알카리 수용액과 접촉시킨후;
    (b) 용액내에 함유된 규소 성분을 침전하기 위해서 알카리 금속 성분이 풍부한 상기 수용액을 이산화탄소와 접촉한 다음;
    (c) 상기 수용액이 농축될때 수용액중의 잔류 규소 성분이 침전되지 않도록 하기 위해 단계(d)에서 생성된 수용액의 충분히 높게 증가시키고;
    (d) 알카리금속 성분이 풍부한 수용액을 만들기 위해 단계(c)에서 제조된 수용액을 농축하고;
    (e) 상기 알카리금속 함유 촉매를 함유하는 알카리금속 성분중 적어도 일부로서 단계(b)에서 제조된 수용액의 알카리금속 성분을 상기 전환공정에 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서 전환 방법이 기화공정인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 상기 탄소질 고체원료가 석탄인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항내지 3항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 알카리금속 잔류물을 함유하는 입자가 다단계 역류 추출장치에서 물 또는 수용액과 접촉되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항내지 4항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 단계(b)에서 제조된 수용액의 pH가 약 12.5내지 15.0으로 증가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 단계(a)에서 제조되고 알카리금속 성분이 풍부한 상기 수용액이 이산화탄소와 접촉되는 동안 상기 알카리금속 성분을 함유하는 입자와도 접촉되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항내지 6항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 단계(a)에서 제조되고 알카리금속 성분이 풍부한 상기 수용액이 이산화탄소와 접촉되기 전에 상기 알카리금속 잔류물을 함유하는 입자로부터 분리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항내지 7항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 입자가 탄소질 물질, 회분 및 알카리금속 잔류물을 함유하는 탄화물 입자로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항내지 8항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 알카리금속 함유 촉매가 칼륨 함유 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항내지 9항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 단계(b)에서 제조된 수용액의 pH가 알카리금속 수산화물을 첨가하므로써 증가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 단계(b)에서 제조된 수용액의 pH가 수산화 칼륨을 첨가하므로써 증가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
