Claims (8)

  1. 본분에 상술한 바와 같이 첫번째 가열 영역에서 석탄을 가열하여 휘발성 증기를 함유하는 첫번째 가스와 부분적으로 휘발성이 제기된 숯을 생성하고, 이 부분적으로 휘발성이 제거된 숯을 두번째 가열 영역으로 옮겨서 부분적으로 휘발성이 제거된 숯을 가열하여 휘발성 증기를 함유하는 두번째 가스와 휘발성이 거의 제거된 숯을 생성하는 단계들로 이루어진 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법에 있어서 첫번째 가열 영역에서는 비-산화분위기에서 가열단계를 수행하고, 두번째 가열영역에서 부분적으로 휘발성이 제거된 숯을 산소와 수중기의 혼합가스와 접촉시키므로써 적어도 11200킬로주울/㎥를 내는 고열량 가스 및 6중량퍼센트 보다 적은 양의 휘발성 가열물질을 함유하는 휘발성이 거의 제거된 숯을 생성함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  2. 청구범위 1항에 있어서 두번째 가열영역에서의 가열 단계는 섭씨 540-1370도의 온도에서 수행함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  3. 청구범위 2항에 있어서, 두번째 가열 영역에서의 가열 단계는 가스화 촉매의 존재하에서는 섭씨 540-870도의 온도에서 수행함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  4. 청구범위 2항에 있어서, 두번째 가열 영역에서의 가열 단계는 가스화 촉매를 사용하지 않는 경우에 섭씨 870-1370도의 온도에서 수행함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  5. 청구범위 1항에 있어서, 첫번째 가열 영역에서의 가열 단계는 섭씨 370-815도, 더욱 바람직하기는 섭씨 430-650도에서 수행함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  6. 청구범위 1항에 있어서, 부가 단계로 휘발성이 거의 제거된 숯을 결합제와 혼합하여 이 혼합물로부터 일정한 형태를 가진 입자를 형성하고 이 형태를 이룬 입자를 경화시킨 다음 코우크스화하므로써 휘발성이 거의 제거된 숯으로부터 코우크스를 생성함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  7. 청구범위 1항에 있어서, 첫번째 가열 단계 전에 섭씨 95-315도의 온도에서 석탄을 예비 가열하여 석탄에 존재하는 습기의 거의 대부분을 제거함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
  8. 청구범위 7항에 있어서, 산소를 점결탄과 반응시키므로써 예비 가열 단계가 진행되는 동안 석탄으로부터 덩어리를 제거함을 특징으로 하는 석탄으로부터 코우크스 및 고열량 가스를 생성하는 방법.
