Shoe soles, with good elasticity, sense of touch, air-permeability, adhesion with rubber adhesives and not requiring a stretching process, were prepd. Thus, nonwoven fabrics were impregnated in a soln. of glass-fiber latex to 2,500g/m2, and pressed by a press roller, and was gelled with a solvent such as alcohol. The gel was pressed again to air-permeability 15%, was passed through a preheated drier to 120≰C to make air-permeability 6%, and pressed to give soles for shoes.
