Description

차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인{HYBRID POWER TRAIN FOR VHICLE}
본 발명은 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 구조에 관한 기술이다.
하이브리드 차량은 동력 특성이 서로 다른 모터와 엔진의 동력을 적절히 조합하여, 차량의 다양한 운전조건에 적합한 출력을 발휘할 수 있도록 하면서도, 가급적 엔진을 최적의 운전점에서 작동되도록 하여, 차량의 연비를 향상시킬 수 있도록 한다.
하이브리드 차량은 모터로만 주행하는 EV모드와, 엔진의 동력으로 발전된 전기를 사용하여 구동되는 모터의 동력으로 차량이 주행하는 시리즈모드, 및 엔진과 모터의 동력 모두를 사용하여 차량을 구동하는 패러렐모드 등을 구현한다.
상기 발명의 배경이 되는 기술로서 설명된 사항들은 본 발명의 배경에 대한 이해 증진을 위한 것일 뿐, 이 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 이미 알려진 종래기술에 해당함을 인정하는 것으로 받아들여져서는 안 될 것이다.

본 발명은 다양한 주행모드를 구현할 수 있고, 패러렐모드 구현 시, 엔진 작동의 자유도를 향상시켜, 궁극적으로 차량의 연비를 더욱 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인을 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
상기한 바와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인은,
엔진;
상기 엔진의 동력을 전달받도록 설치된 제1입력축;
상기 제1입력축에 직결된 제1모터;
상기 제1입력축과 동심축을 이루어 배치된 제2입력축;
상기 제2입력축에 직결된 제2모터;
두 회전요소가 상기 제1입력축 및 제2입력축에 각각 연결되고, 나머지 한 회전요소가 고정 가능하게 설치된 유성기어장치;
동력을 인출할 수 있도록 상기 제2입력축에 일체로 구비된 출력기어;

상기 제1입력축은 상기 엔진의 동력을 일정한 기어비로 전달받도록 서로 치합된 기어들에 의해 상기 엔진에 연결될 수 있다.
상기 엔진에는 내접기어가 구비되고;
상기 제1입력축에는 상기 내접기어에 치합되는 내접피니언이 구비될 수 있다.
상기 제2입력축은 상기 제1입력축을 감싸는 중공축으로 이루어지고;
상기 제1입력축과 제2입력축은 상기 제2모터의 내부를 관통하도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 유성기어장치에는 3개의 회전요소 중 임의의 2개의 회전요소를 상호 결합시킬 수 있는 클러치가 장착될 수 있다.
상기 유성기어장치의 선기어는 상기 제1입력축에 연결되고, 캐리어는 상기 제2입력축에 연결되며, 링기어는 브레이크에 의해 변속기케이스에 고정 가능하게 설치될 수 있다.

상기 출력기어의 동력은 감속된 후, 차동장치로 전달되도록 구성될 수 있다.

도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인의 실시예는, 엔진(E); 상기 엔진(E)의 동력을 전달받도록 설치된 제1입력축(IN1); 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 직결된 제1모터(MG1); 상기 제1입력축(IN1)과 동심축을 이루어 배치된 제2입력축(IN2); 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 직결된 제2모터(MG2); 두 회전요소가 상기 제1입력축(IN1) 및 제2입력축(IN2)에 각각 연결되고, 나머지 한 회전요소가 고정 가능하게 설치된 유성기어장치(PG); 동력을 인출할 수 있도록 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 일체로 구비된 출력기어(OG)를 포함하여 구성된다.
즉, 본 발명의 파워트레인은 상기 제1입력축(IN1)으로 엔진(E)과 제1모터(MG1)의 동력을 공급할 수 있도록 하고, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 제2모터(MG2)의 동력을 공급할 수 있도록 한 상태에서, 상기 제1입력축(IN1)의 동력을 상기 유성기어장치(PG)를 통해 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 감속하여 전달하거나 그대로 전달할 수 있도록 하면서, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)의 출력기어(OG)를 통해 동력을 구동륜으로 인출할 수 있도록 구성한 것이다.
따라서, 상기 엔진(E)의 동력을 상기 제2모터(MG2)의 동력과 함께 구동륜으로 제공하여 패러렐모드를 구현할 때, 상기 엔진(E)의 동력은 상기 제1입력축(IN1)과 유성기어장치(PG)를 통해 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 감속 또는 등속으로 전달되므로, 상기 엔진(E)은 상기 제2모터(MG2)의 회전속도에 대해 2가지의 서로 다른 속도로 운전될 수 있는 자유도를 가지게 되는 것이다.
따라서, 상기 엔진(E)은 상기 제2모터(MG2)의 회전속도에 구속되지 않고, 상기와 같은 자유도를 가지고 운전될 수 있어서, 가급적 최적의 운전점에서 운전되도록 제어됨으로써, 궁극적으로 차량의 연비를 향상시킬 수 있게 되는 것이다.
상기 엔진(E)에는 내접기어(1)가 구비되고; 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에는 상기 내접기어(1)에 치합되는 내접피니언(3)이 구비된다.
따라서, 상기 엔진(E)은 상기 제1모터(MG1)에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 회전수로 운전될 수 있으며, 상기와 같은 내접기어(1)와 내접피니언(3)은 본 발명 파워트레인의 부피를 축소하여 보다 컴팩트하게 구성할 수 있도록 한다.
상기 제2입력축(IN2)은 상기 제1입력축(IN1)을 감싸는 중공축으로 이루어지고; 상기 제1입력축(IN1)과 제2입력축(IN2)은 상기 제2모터(MG2)의 내부를 관통하도록 설치된다.
또한, 상기 유성기어장치(PG)는 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 상기 제1모터(MG1)와 제2모터(MG2) 사이에 배치되도록 하여, 상기 제1모터(MG1)와 유성기어장치(PG) 및 제2모터(MG2)가 컴팩트한 구성을 가질 수 있도록 하고 있다.
상기 유성기어장치(PG)에는 3개의 회전요소 중 임의의 2개의 회전요소를 상호 결합시킬 수 있는 클러치(CL)가 장착된다.
상기 유성기어장치(PG)의 선기어(S)는 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 연결되고, 캐리어(C)는 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 연결되며, 링기어(R)는 브레이크(B)에 의해 변속기케이스(CS)에 고정 가능하게 설치된다.
상기 클러치(CL)는 상기 유성기어장치(PG)의 선기어(S)와 링기어(R)를 상호 결합시킬 수 있도록 설치된다.
따라서, 상기 브레이크(B)가 작동되면 상기 링기어(R)가 상기 변속기케이스(CS)에 고정되어, 상기 선기어(S)로 입력되는 상기 제1입력축(IN1)의 동력은 감속되어 캐리어(C)를 통해 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 전달되게 되며, 이와 같은 상태가 도 2와 도 3의 1단 상태이다.
상기 브레이크(B)가 해제되고 상기 클러치(CL)가 체결되면, 상기 선기어(S)와 링기어(R)가 서로 잠기면서, 상기 유성기어장치(PG)의 모든 회전요소가 일체로 회전되므로, 상기 선기어(S)로 입력되는 상기 제1입력축(IN1)의 동력은 변속되지 않고 그대로 상기 캐리어(C)를 통해 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 전달되게 되며, 이와 같은 상태는 도 2와 도 3의 2단 상태이다.
한편, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 일체로 설치된 상기 출력기어(OG)의 동력은 감속된 후, 차동장치(DF)로 전달되도록 구성될 수 있다.
즉, 본 실시예에서, 상기 출력기어(OG)에는 제1매개기어(5)가 치합되고; 상기 제1매개기어(5)와 동심축으로 설치된 제2매개기어(7)는 상기 차동장치(DF)의 차동링기어(DR)에 치합되며; 상기 제1매개기어(5)는 상기 제2매개기어(7)보다 직경이 크게 구성된 것이다.
따라서, 상기 출력기어(OG)의 동력은 상기 제1매개기어(5)와 제2매개기어(7) 및 차동링기어(DR)를 통해 차례로 감속되어 상기 차동장치(DF)로 전달되게 된다.
물론, 상기 차동장치(DF)에는 양쪽의 구동륜이 연결되어, 상기 차동장치(DF)로 전달된 동력은 상기 구동륜으로 바로 전달되게 된다.
한편, 상기한 바와 같은 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인은 전기차모드인 EV모드 주행 시, 상기 브레이크(B)와 클러치(CL)를 모두 해제한 상태에서, 상기 제2모터(MG2)만을 구동하여 EV모드를 구현한다.
또한, 상기와 같이 브레이크(B)와 클러치(CL)를 모두 해제한 상태에서, 상기 엔진(E)을 구동하여, 상기 제1모터(MG1)로 발전을 수행하고, 이와 같이 발전된 전력으로 상기 제2모터(MG2)를 구동하는 방식으로 시리즈모드를 구현할 수 있다.
물론, 상술한 바와 같이 상기 브레이크(B)나 클러치(CL)를 체결하는 1단이나 2단의 상태는 상기 엔진(E)의 동력과 제2모터(MG2)의 동력이 모두 구동륜으로 제공되는 패럴렐모드를 구현하는 상태이다.
본 발명은 특정한 실시예에 관련하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 이하의 특허청구범위에 의해 제공되는 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 한도 내에서, 본 발명이 다양하게 개량 및 변화될 수 있다는 것은 당업계에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어서 자명할 것이다.

Claims (9)

  1. 엔진;
    상기 엔진의 동력을 전달받도록 설치된 제1입력축;
    상기 제1입력축에 직결된 제1모터;
    상기 제1입력축과 동심축을 이루어 배치된 제2입력축;
    상기 제2입력축에 직결된 제2모터;
    두 회전요소가 상기 제1입력축 및 제2입력축에 각각 연결되고, 나머지 한 회전요소가 고정 가능하게 설치된 유성기어장치;
    동력을 인출할 수 있도록 상기 제2입력축에 일체로 구비된 출력기어;
    를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 제1입력축은 상기 엔진의 동력을 일정한 기어비로 전달받도록 서로 치합된 기어들에 의해 상기 엔진에 연결되는 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  3. 청구항 2에 있어서,
    상기 엔진에는 내접기어가 구비되고;
    상기 제1입력축에는 상기 내접기어에 치합되는 내접피니언이 구비된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  4. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 제2입력축은 상기 제1입력축을 감싸는 중공축으로 이루어지고;
    상기 제1입력축과 제2입력축은 상기 제2모터의 내부를 관통하도록 설치된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  5. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 유성기어장치에는 3개의 회전요소 중 임의의 2개의 회전요소를 상호 결합시킬 수 있는 클러치가 장착된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  6. 청구항 5에 있어서,
    상기 유성기어장치의 선기어는 상기 제1입력축에 연결되고, 캐리어는 상기 제2입력축에 연결되며, 링기어는 브레이크에 의해 변속기케이스에 고정 가능하게 설치된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  7. 청구항 6에 있어서,
    상기 클러치는 상기 유성기어장치의 선기어와 링기어를 상호 결합시킬 수 있도록 설치된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  8. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 출력기어의 동력은 감속된 후, 차동장치로 전달되도록 구성된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  9. 청구항 8에 있어서,
    상기 출력기어에는 제1매개기어가 치합되고;
    상기 제1매개기어와 동심축으로 설치된 제2매개기어는 상기 차동장치의 차동링기어에 치합되며;
    상기 제1매개기어는 상기 제2매개기어보다 직경이 큰 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
