Description

Hydraulic brake system for motorcycle}Hydraulic brake system for motorcycle

The present invention relates to a brake device for a two-wheeled vehicle, and more particularly, it can be installed on a front wheel disk of a two-wheeled vehicle to prevent a phenomenon in which the rear wheels are lifted together with the vehicle body due to inertia around the front wheels when sudden braking occurs, thereby preventing a safety accident in advance. It relates to a hydraulic brake system for a two-wheeled vehicle.

In general, a two-wheeled vehicle has one wheel mounted on each of the front and rear portions of the body constituting the main body so that it can be rolled, and is driven by a power source such as an engine or an electric motor, and may be a bicycle or a motorcycle.

The above-described two-wheeled vehicle is provided with a steering wheel for steering and a brake device for braking to set a traveling direction through the handle and control the traveling through the brake device.

In the case of a two-wheeled vehicle, the brake device brakes the front and rear wheels independently of each other by providing braking means respectively to the front and rear wheels.

For example, in a two-wheeled vehicle, brake levers are provided at left and right positions of a steering wheel, respectively, and a front brake and a rear brake are independently operated by the respective brake levers. However, since the two-wheeled vehicle has a high center of gravity, there is a high risk of the two-wheeled vehicle overturning due to inertia when only the front wheels are braked without braking of the rear wheels, or when the rear wheels are braked later than the front wheels even when the rear wheels are braked.

That is, when a braking force is generated on the front wheel side while driving, an overturning accident occurs in which the rear wheel is rotated while being lifted upward along with the driver based on the ground support point of the front wheel due to inertia.

In particular, when driving at high speed or driving downhill, if the brake is operated incorrectly, the risk of overturning is higher.

In order to solve this problem, the brake systems located on the front and rear wheels need to sequentially control the inertial force generated on the vehicle body. As a device for this, a hydraulic brake system has been proposed.

However, since the hydraulic brake system has to sequentially control the front wheels and the rear wheels, a space for equipment installation must be secured, and the installation is difficult because the cost is high.

As shown in FIG. 1, when the front wheel brake is operated while driving through the two-wheeled vehicle, the lever 12 moves, and the push rod 13 constituting the master cylinder 10 sequentially advances to the return spring 15. While compressing the oil, the oil in the oil tank 14 is pushed out by the caliper 20 . Then, the oil is transferred to the oil chamber 26 through the tube 25 connected to the caliper 20, and the oil in the oil chamber 26 pushes both pistons 22 at the same time. At this time, the pads 23 of the piston 22 ) adheres to both sides of the front wheel disk 30 and controls the rotation of the front wheel disk 30 .

Then, the front wheel disk 30 generates frictional resistance with respect to the ground and achieves a stationary state. When the inertial force is relatively large, the vehicle body generates a strong frictional force centered on the ground support point of the front wheel disk 30 .

At this time, as shown in FIG. 2 , the oil pressure pushes the piston 130 of the oil pressure buffer 100 , and the piston 130 is lifted while compressing the return spring 120 upward. ), when the lower end passes through the ring member 140, the space between the ring member 140 and the ring member 140 is exposed, and the oil rapidly moves through the exposed gap, thereby generating an instantaneous buffering force. The inertia force generated in the front wheel disk 30 is controlled.
