Abstract

본 발명은 음성, 얼굴 인식 tv와 그 인식수단 및 연령별 프로그램 추천 장치에 관한 것으로, 얼굴인식 TV는 a, b, c, d, e를 포함할 수 있다.
(a) 가족 구성원(여타 사용자가 설정한 사람)의 얼굴을 인식하기 위한 얼굴 인식수단과,
(b) 얼굴 인식수단에 따라 TV를 켜고 끌 수 있는 장치와,
(c) 시청자의 연령에 따른 특징을 구별하여 나이를 인식하는 연령 인식수단과,
(d) 19세 미만의 청소년으로 인식되면 유해 프로그램을 제한하는 디스플레이 제한 수단과,
(e) 각 연령의 특징을 구별하여 채널을 추천해주는 스트리밍 알고리즘을 포함하여 구성된, TV

Description

음성, 얼굴 인식 tv와 그 인식수단 및 연령별 프로그램 추천 장치 {Voice and face recognition TV, its recognition means, and devices recommended for age-specific programs}
음성, 얼굴 인식을 위한 tv와 그 인식수단 및 연령별 프로그램 추천 장치 개발에 관한 것이다.
얼굴인식 기술은 피사체의 영상을 얻는 장치가 있어야 가능하다. 일반적인 방법은 광전변환 방식으로 피사체로부터 입사되는 광신호를 전기적 신호로 변환한 다음, 이를 증폭하거나 변조하는 것이다. 이를 디스플레이 장치를 통해 표시하게 되면 피사체가 영상으로 얻어지게 된다. 음성인식 또한 마찬가지이다. 근래 디지털 신호처리기술이 많이 발전했으며 LSI의 성능이 향상되고, 가격이 낮아져 여러 기기에 많이 도입되고 있다. 음성인식장치의 기본원리는 입력된 음성을 디지털 음성신호로 변환하고, 그 디지털 음성신호를 음성사전에 등록된 표준 음성 데이터와 대조하여 인식하는 것이다. 이 때문에 표준음성 데이터와 비교하기 쉽도록 특별한 발성 방법이 요구되거나, 특정화자의 음성을 새로 음성인식장치에 등록해 두는 등의 대책이 필요하다. 이러한 인식장치에 디지털 방송 기술을 접목을 시킬 수 있다.

본 발명의 목적은 기존의 광학 기술에 국한된 것만이 아니라, 일상 생활에 밀접한 서비스를 제공함으로써 사용자에게 편리한 생활을 제공하고, 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공함으로써 디지털화 된 요즘 시대에 용이하게 접근하도록 함에 있다. 또한 본 발명은 시청자의 연령을 인식하고 그 인식된 시청자 연령 정보에 따라 부적절한 프로그램이 방송될 경우, 자동적으로 TV 시청이 제어되도록 하는 디지털 TV 방송의 시청제어 장치를 제공하고, 연령을 인식하여 그 연령대에 맞는 채널을 추천하는 스트리밍 알고리즘을 제공함으로써 TV 및 인공지능을 하나로 융합한 시스템을 제공하는데 목적이 있다.
상기한 본 발명의 목적을 달성하기 위한 기술적 사상으로써 본 발명은 시청자의 나이를 인식한 후 연령에 따라 TV 시청을 제한 할 수 있는 디지털 TV 방송의 시청 제어장치에 있어서, 시청자 연령에 따른 특징을 구별하여 나이를 인식하기 위한 시청자 연령 인식수단과; 디지털 TV 방송의 영상 스트림(stream)으로부터 시청 가능한 나이 등급정보를 받아들이는 스트림 인식수단; 및 상기 시청자 연령을 인식한 후 그에 따른 적합한 채널을 추천하는 스트리밍 알고리즘; 및 상기 시청자 연령 인식수단과 스트림 인식수단으로부터의 출력 정보에 따라 디스플레이의 영상 출력을 제한하는 디스플레이 제한수단; 으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 TV 방송의 시청 제어장치 및 스트리밍 알고리즘을 제공한다.
이상에서와 같이 본 발명에 의한 디지털 TV 방송의 시청 제어장치에 따르면, 디지털 TV시대에서 영상 내용의 내용에 따라 선정성 및 폭력성 등으로 시청자가 등급별로 나뉘는데, 이러한 프로그램을 적합한 시청자가 시청을 할 수 있도록 보조 하여 전달할 수 있다. 즉, 시청자의 연령을 인식하고 그 인식된 시청자 연령 정보를 바탕으로 부적절한 프로그램이 방송될 경우 시청자의 연령에 따라 자동적으로 TV 시청을 제한할 수 있다.

도 3은 본 발명에 따른 디지털 TV의 시청 제어장치의 동작 흐름도이다.
본 발명에 의하면, 도 1은 카메라와 마이크 장치를 구비해 시청자의 연령을 인식하기 위한 시청자 연령 인식 장치(A)(10)와; TV의 스트림(stream)을 통해 시청 가능한 나이 등급정보를 받아들이는 셋톱 박스(B)(20); 및 상기 시청자의 인식된 연령 정보와 스트림을 통한 시청 등급정보에 따라 영상 출력을 제한할 수 있는 디스플레이 화면(C)(30)으로 구성됨으로써 시청자의 연령에 따라 부적절한 프로그램이 방송될 경우 자동적으로 TV가 제어되어서 시청을 못하게 할 수 있다. 또한, B(20)의 스트림 형태에는 DVD, USB 등의 저장 매체가 포함된다. 도 3은 본 발명에 따른 디지털 TV의 시청 제어장치의 동작 흐름도이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 방송이나 영화의 심의등급 별로 나이의 제한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 정보를 가지고 인식된 시청자의 나이가 TV 시청 등급에 적당한 경우와 적당하지 않은 경우를 나눈 후, 적당하지 않은 경우 B와 상호 연동하여 TV 시청이 불가능하도록 영상과 음성을 제어할 수 있다. 먼저, C에서 프로그램의 스트림을 확인하여 연령 제한 정보를 알아낸다(S1). 그리고 A에서 현재 시청자의 나이를 인식해 C에 보내준다(S2). 이 때, 시청자의 나이 인식 정보와 현재 프로그램을 비교해서(S3) 부적절한 나이라고 판단될 경우 영상이 나오지 않도록 하고(S4), 다시 처음으로 돌아간다. 이것을 전원이 꺼질 때 까지 반복하게 된다(S5).

Claims (3)

  1. 얼굴인식 TV에 있어서,
    (a) 가족 구성원(여타 사용자가 설정한 사람)의 얼굴을 인식하기 위한 얼굴 인식수단과,
    (b) 얼굴 인식수단에 따라 TV를 켜고 끌 수 있는 장치와,
    (c) 시청자의 연령에 따른 특징을 구별하여 나이를 인식하는 연령 인식수단과,
    (d) 19세 미만의 청소년으로 인식되면 유해 프로그램을 제한하는 디스플레이 제한 수단과,
    (e) 각 연령의 특징을 구별하여 채널을 추천해주는 스트리밍 알고리즘을 포함하여 구성된, TV
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 시청자 연령 인식수단은 카메라로부터 촬영된 시청자의 얼굴과 마이크로부터 수신된 시청자의 음성을 바탕으로 구별하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 TV의 제어장치
  3. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 스트리밍 알고리즘과 디스플레이 제한 수단이 내장된 셋톱박스를 구비하여 시청자 연령에 따른 TV 시청을 제한하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 TV의 제어장치
