Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a tissue preservation container, and more particularly, to a tissue preservation container that prevents smell of a fixation solution contained in a tissue preservation container and prevents the fixation solution from flowing out of the container.
The tissue collected from the patient's lesion is an important resource in the diagnosis, treatment, research, and development of new drugs. In order to accurately diagnose and treat the disease, and to study it, Most of which is carried to a location where there is inspection equipment for observation and analysis, with the tissue taken from the patient's lesion in a container.
At this time, the tissue contained in the container is stored in the container, may be moved for a short period of time for inspection of the tissue, and in some cases, long-distance movement may be inevitable, and the current storage and transportation of tissues A container of a cylindrical body having a storage space of a tissue is simply used.
The conventional tissue preservation container currently in use is composed of a body and a lid. The tissue collected from the patient's lesion is put into the body and a fixer is put in order to preserve the state of the tissue. In this case, The tissue or cell is kept in a state as it was at the time of collection, and the structure or cell structure is left in a state suitable for observation, analysis, and specimen production.
The fixation solution for fixation is to penetrate into tissues and fix tissues to preserve tissues so that they are not decomposed any more and are kept in a collected state. Usually, formalin is mainly used, and various kinds of drugs . It may be fixed with a single drug but it may be changed in form. Therefore, two or more kinds of drugs may be mixed and used. For fixation of plant tissues and diseased tissues, formalin-acetic acid-alcohol fixer is most widely used.
In particular, formalin is one of the most hazardous chemicals because it has a coagulation action and a polymerization action of protein, and thus is used as an excellent fixing solution or a material thereof. However, formalin is one of harmful chemicals, and formaldehyde prepared by oxidizing methyl alcohol is dissolved in a concentration of 37% It is an aqueous solution dissolved in water. It is known to be toxic and has a strong irritating odor, and it is known that its toxicity is 5 times stronger than that of phenol.
Especially, when the human is exposed to gaseous formaldehyde because of its strong toxicity to the human body, strong protein coagulation action invades the skin or mucous membrane. If a large amount of formalin is inhaled, it becomes a central nervous system disorder, shock, and coma , And high doses can lead to heart failure and death.
In addition, formalin is not decomposed and is known to seriously threaten ecosystems in the water when it flows into rivers. In Korea, strict management is carried out in accordance with the Water Quality and Ecosystem Conservation Act and the Toxic Chemicals Control Act.
Therefore, when a fixer containing harmful components such as formalin is used to preserve tissues or cells, the conventional tissue preservation container is composed of a body and a lid, and is likely to be exposed to a harmful ingredient when the tissue is put into a container, The operation process of the user is not comfortable due to the irritating odor of the user, and serious damage occurs when the fixing liquid is leaked.
Therefore, it is necessary to develop a tissue preservation vessel that can block the smell of the fixative and prevent damages caused by the fixative solution containing harmful components.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been conceived to solve the problems described above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a tissue preservation container which can prevent the irritating odor of the fixation solution contained in the tissue preservation container and prevent the fixation solution from flowing out of the container The purpose.
