Abstract
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 셀은, 전극 조립체, 전극 조립체를 수용하는 케이스 본체와 케이스 본체로부터 연장되는 케이스 테라스를 포함하는 전지 케이스, 전지 케이스 밖으로 돌출되며, 전극 조립체와 전기적으로 연결되는 한 쌍의 전극 리드들 및 케이스 테라스 내부에 구비되며, 배터리 셀의 과충전을 차단하는 과충전 차단유닛을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
