Abstract
The object of the present invention is to provide a new alignment system and an alignment method which can prevent damage due to sagging phenomenon of a large area substrate from the step of aligning a mask and a substrate.
In the present invention, a flexible chuck manufactured by forming electrodes on a flexible substrate that can exhibit the same swing state on a substrate in a sagging state is arranged at the step of aligning and bonding the substrate and the mask, and a rigid The flexible chuck is first chucked in a state in which the substrate is suspended, the flexible chuck is pulled at both ends, the substrate and the flexible chuck are removed together and flattened, and then the rigid chuck plate is attached to the flexible chuck The substrate is chucked, and the position of the substrate with respect to the mask to be attached to the substrate is adjusted and aligned.
Description
The present invention relates to an aligner for aligning a substrate and a mask, and more particularly, to an aligner for aligning a large-area substrate with a mask using a flexible chuck, .
In the production of a display or an illumination device or a solar cell to which an OLED is applied, the deflection phenomenon of the substrate in the manufacturing process causes various problems as the substrate becomes large and thin. If the alignment of the mask and the substrate can not be precisely performed due to the deflection of the substrate, the organic material forming the pixel can not be deposited at the predetermined position on the substrate and the precise color can not be emitted. For precise alignment, the distance between the substrate and the mask is minimized, a positional difference between marks formed on the substrate and the mask is checked using a vision camera, the mask is moved based on the substrate, So that the distance between them is minimized. In the case of a mask, when a mask sheet is attached to a mask frame in order to minimize deflection, it is attached after being stretched to prevent sagging. As the size of the glass substrate increases, the deflection due to gravity increases. Due to the deflection of the glass substrate, the gap between the substrate and the mask at the time of alignment must be aligned with the deflection of the gap. This results in a problem that precision observation is difficult due to the difference in the distance between the alignment mark on the substrate and the alignment mark on the mask in the process of observing with the vision camera, resulting in a precise alignment.
Korean Unexamined Patent Publication No. 10-2015-0065050 discloses a method of dropping a substrate at a speed higher than a free fall and dropping the chuck at a higher speed than the method of chucking the substrate by chucking . Only a method of chucking the substrate without sagging without any reference to the alignment of the mask and the substrate is proposed. Further, when the above method is performed on a thin glass substrate, the risk of breakage is too high to be feasible.
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a new alignment method and system using a flexible chuck so as to prevent damage due to sagging phenomenon of a large area substrate from the step of aligning a mask and a substrate.
According to the above object, the present invention provides a method for aligning a substrate and a mask, comprising the steps of aligning a substrate and a mask, placing a flexible chuck manufactured by forming an electrode on a flexible substrate, A rigid chuck plate is disposed thereon, first, a flexible chuck is chucked in a state in which the substrate is in a sagittal state, and the flexible chuck is pulled at both ends to simultaneously eliminate the suspended state of the flexible chuck and the substrate. Then, And the alignment of the substrate with respect to the mask to be attached to the substrate is adjusted and aligned.
The flexible chuck includes an electrode constituting an electrostatic chuck inside using a flexible material as a base material and includes a fixing member for fixing the flexible chuck to both end portions of the flexible substrate so as to hold the fixing member on both sides or loosely Thereby allowing the flexible substrate to be given a tensile force or, conversely, to lose tension. That is, in the chucking step where the substrate is in the suspended state, the flexible chuck is loosely placed using the fixing member to be slackened in the same state as the substrate, so that the flexible chuck is fully tightly contacted with the substrate, And the flexible chuck are made flat at the same time to eliminate the deflection phenomenon. In this manner, the deflection phenomenon is eliminated and the substrate is planarized, and the substrate is chucked with a chuck plate which chucks the substrate, thereby performing alignment processing for aligning the position of the mask and the substrate.
In addition, the flexible chuck may be manufactured by a pressure-sensitive adhesive chuck including a pressure-sensitive adhesive on a surface of the flexible chuck attached to the substrate. In this case, the same swinging state is implemented on the substrate in the suspended state, After pulling the entire chuck, pull the flexible chuck to remove the stuck state and chuck the rigid chuck plate.
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to eliminate the inaccuracy of the alignment caused by the substrate deflection by aligning and attaching the substrate with the mask in a state in which the substrate is completely pressed and pulled by the flexible chuck and the substrate deflection phenomenon is completely removed.
Further, according to the prior art, there is a problem that scratches are generated on the substrate in the process of placing the substrate in a warped state on a flat mask, but the flexible chuck of the present invention does not cause such a problem at all.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 and 2 show an
The
4 shows a detailed process and a method of chucking the
Further, the
When the
In this way, the inlining of the substrate due to the deflection of the substrate and the scratch on the substrate deposition surface are eliminated, and the inconsistency problem between the mask pattern and the substrate pattern caused by the deflection of the conventional substrate is solved even in the subsequent deposition process. Ultimately, due to the deflection of the conventional substrate, the effective area of the large-area substrate is small, thereby improving the productivity by improving the effective area by improving the point that many portions are discarded.
