Description

{SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE MOTOR DRIVEN WHEEL CHAIR}

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a wheelchair, and more particularly, to an electric wheelchair capable of adjusting the height of a seat and being able to ride on and off by itself.

A wheelchair is a device equipped with a chair and a wheel so that the disabled person, the patient, or the elderly can move while sitting. In general, a wheelchair includes a pipe-shaped support frame, a seat mounted on the upper side of the frame to seat the occupant, a drive wheel that is rotatably installed on both lower sides of the frame and rolls in contact with the ground during running, And a hand rim which is installed outside the driving wheel and which is rotated by the passenger by hand to rotate the driving wheel.

The wheelchair is classified into a manual type in which the user rides with his / her own strength or a protector is pushed according to the operation mode, and an electric type wheelchair is driven with the electric power charged in the battery. Electric wheelchairs are useful for elderly people as well as patients with uncomfortable legs because they have a convenient advantage in that they can move on their own and have no power when driving.

On the other hand, existing manual or electric wheelchairs have a problem in that the height of the seat on which the user is seated is uniform so that the severely handicapped or the elderly who are uncomfortable with the legs are difficult to ride on the wheelchair themselves and have to be assisted by another person to board the wheelchair .

In order to solve such a problem, a wheelchair (patent registration number: 10-0757649) has been proposed in which the seat is brought close to the floor or raised again. This technique has a lifting device to allow the occupant to ride on or off the wheelchair when the seat is close to the floor and then to climb the seat again. Another conventional technique is proposed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-2009-0117561. In this case, a lifting device is also provided to adjust the height of the seat.

All such conventional wheelchairs include separate elevating means for adjusting the height of the seat, which complicates the structure of the wheelchair and increases the manufacturing cost. Further, since the seat moves only in the vertical direction, there is a problem that the user must move while taking the inconvenience of the leg to approach the seat even in a state where the seat is lowered in height.

Particularly, in the conventional wheelchair, it is impossible to integrate the driving means for driving the wheel and the elevating means for changing the seat height, which is very difficult to apply to an electric wheelchair. As a result, there is a problem that the user can not move the wheelchair without being assisted by the other person on his own. Therefore, it is urgent to develop a wheelchair for disabled persons, patients, and elderly persons to ride and move on their own without the help of a third party.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above technical background, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a height-adjustable wheelchair in which the disabled person, the elderly person and the patient can easily ride on or off the wheelchair themselves.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an electric wheelchair capable of rotating the wheel and adjusting the height of the seat by a motor for driving the wheelchair.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an electric wheel chair in which the center of gravity of the wheel chair can be stably maintained without being deflected when the seat height is changed.

Other objects and technical features of the present invention will be more specifically described in the following detailed description.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a seat for a user sitting on a floor, comprising: a floor main body; a seat for user sitting on the floor main body; a main motor mounted on the rear of the floor main body; A wheel drive shaft which receives power from the main motor and transmits a rotational force to the drive wheel; and a control unit that receives power from the main motor, A gear box for transmitting the power transmitted from the main motor to the wheel driving shaft and the sheet moving shaft, and a gear driving mechanism for selectively interrupting the rotational force of the motor transmitted from the gear box, A first support column for supporting the seat back and connected to the seat movement shaft; And a second support post supporting the seat front.

The gearbox may include a pair of bevel gears.

The wheel chair according to the present invention may further include an auxiliary motor mounted on the front of the floor body, an auxiliary driving shaft transmitting rotational force transmitted from the auxiliary motor, and a rack pinion gear changing the rotation of the auxiliary driving shaft into linear motion.

In this case, the auxiliary motor is driven together with the seat moving shaft to change the position of the front wheel back and forth by the operation of the rack pinion gear.

In the present invention, it is preferable that the upper end of the first support column further includes a bearing so as to be rotatable with the seat.

Further, in the present invention, the first support column and the second support column may further include a hydraulic cylinder so that the height changes vertically.

According to the present invention, it is possible to adjust the height of a seat for a disabled person, an elderly person or a patient who can not easily ride in or out of a wheelchair by himself or herself, and the wheelchair is driven by a motorized system, Do.

According to the present invention, the rotation of the wheel and the height of the seat can be adjusted by a single motor for driving the wheelchair, so that the structure of the wheelchair can be simplified and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

Particularly, according to the wheel chair of the present invention, when the seat height is lowered, the seat is moved forward so that the user is very easy to board, and when the seat height is changed, the center of gravity of the wheelchair is stably maintained without being deflected, thereby maximizing user convenience.

The present invention proposes an electric wheelchair in which the height of a seat is adjusted and the rotation of the wheel and the change in the height of the seat are transmitted by one driving means.

1 is a perspective view showing an electric wheelchair according to the present invention. The wheelchair 100 of the present invention includes a seat 110 on which a user is seated, a driving wheel 120 for movement of a wheelchair, and a main driving unit 130 for generating and transmitting power.

The seat further includes a backrest (112) and an armrest (114), and a front wheel (122) smaller in size than the driving wheel is disposed forward of the wheelchair. The main driving unit is mounted on the floor main body 102 of the wheelchair and comprises a main motor 150 and a power transmitting part to be described later.

The seat is supported by the first support column 160 and the second support column 170 as being spaced upward from the floor body as two support portions. For the convenience of the user, the front footstep 104 may further be formed in front of the floor body.

In addition to the main driving unit including the main motor, an auxiliary driving unit 140 capable of changing the position of the front wheel forward and backward is provided in front of the bottom main body, and an auxiliary motor may be added to the auxiliary driving unit, .

In the present invention, the height of the user seated seat disposed on the floor main body is changed by the rotational force transmitted from the main motor. Further, a pair of driving wheels disposed on both sides of the floor main body are also driven by a rotational force transmitted from the main motor. The technical structure for this purpose will be described in more detail with reference to FIG.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a driving part of an electric wheelchair in which a pair of front wheels 122 are disposed on both sides of a front portion of a floor body connected to a support portion 124, The center is arranged on both sides.

The driving wheel is connected to a wheel driving shaft 131a that receives power from the main motor and transmits rotational force to the driving wheel. Further, the seat moving shaft 131b is disposed parallel to and spaced apart from the wheel drive shaft. The seat moving shaft receives power from the main motor and changes the height of the seat.

Gear boxes 132a and 132b are disposed at the centers of the wheel drive shaft and the seat movement shaft. The gear box transmits power transmitted from the main motor through the motor drive shaft 152 to the wheel drive shaft and the seat movement shaft.

A pair of first support pillars 160 supporting the seat back are connected to both ends of the seat shift shaft 131b. The first support pillar supports the seat lower surface, and is vertically movable up and down. When the seat height of the wheelchair becomes lower, the center of the seat is moved toward the front of the wheelchair. To this end, the upper end of the first support column further includes a bearing 162 to be rotatable with respect to the seat, and the seat is fixed to a side of the seat connection shaft 164 via a bearing.

Further, the second support post 170 supporting the front of the seat is fixed to the lower end by the support portion, and if necessary, the support portion can be designed to be inclined forward or backward of the second support post.

In addition to the main driving unit described above, the auxiliary driving unit includes an auxiliary motor 141 mounted on the front upper surface of the floor main body, an auxiliary driving shaft 142 transmitting rotational force transmitted from the auxiliary motor, To a motion. As the variable means, a rack 144 and a pinion 143 gear can be used. The auxiliary motor is driven together with the seat moving shaft so that the position of the front wheel can be changed back and forth by the operation of the rack pinion gear.

3 is an enlarged view of the inside of the main drive unit showing the electromagnetic clutches 133a and 133b for selectively interrupting the rotational force of the motor transmitted from the gear box and transmitting it to the wheel drive shaft 131a or the sheet movement shaft 131b have. It should be noted that a pair of bevel gears 35 is used as the gear box of the main drive.

The power transmitted from the main motor through the motor drive shaft 152 can be simultaneously transmitted to the wheel drive shaft and the sheet movement shaft via the gear box. However, by the action of the electromagnetic clutch, the clutch disc 134 can be selectively interrupted to select the rotation of the wheel drive shaft or the rotation of the sheet movement shaft. That is, the rotational force of the motor is transmitted to the wheel drive shaft when the wheelchair is moved, and is transmitted to the seat movement axis when the seat is adjusted in height. As a result, the rotation of the driving wheel and the rotation of the seat moving shaft (that is, the height adjustment of the seat) are selectively enabled by the action of the electromagnetic clutch using one main motor.

The operation of the electric wheel chair according to the present invention is as follows. First, in order to ride a user in a wheelchair, the main motor is driven, and the electromagnetic clutch is operated to disconnect the wheel drive shaft and connect the seat movement shaft. The rotational force of the motor rotates the seat moving shaft, so that the first supporting column rotates forward and the seat is lowered.

Fig. 4 is a side view showing the electric wheel chair in a descending state. It can be seen that the seat 110 is lowered vertically from the initial position and moved horizontally forward of the floor main body 102. Fig. Therefore, the user can easily sit on the seat, and can sit on the seat without the assistance of the other person or the assistant.

When the seat is lowered, the front wheel 122 moves toward the front of the floor body. When the seat is lowered and moved toward the front of the wheelchair, the center of gravity of the wheelchair can be pushed forward, and as the front wheel moves, the seat becomes the center of gravity of the wheelchair to maintain the overall stability. For this operation, when the main moving motor is rotated by the main motor and the first supporting column is inclined forward, it is preferable that the above-mentioned auxiliary motor is driven so that the front wheel moves forward. At this time, the second support column may be lowered downward or inclined forward as in the first support column.

After the user is seated on the seat, the seat is returned to its original position. In this case, the seat moving axis is moved backward by reversing the driving direction of the main motor, and at the same time, the auxiliary motor is driven to move the front wheel to the original position. When the wheelchair is moved, the seat moving shaft is disconnected through the electromagnetic clutch when the main motor is driven, and the wheel driving shaft is connected to transmit the rotational force to the driving wheel.

The electric wheel chair according to the present invention may not only lower the seat but also increase the seat height according to the user's height or sitting state. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, an electric wheel chair in an ascent / descent state can appropriately change a seat height according to a user by varying the lengths of the first support pillars 160 and the second support pillars 170. To this end, it is preferable that the first support column and the second support column further include a hydraulic cylinder so that the height changes vertically.

While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed exemplary embodiments, but, on the contrary, Modified, modified, or improved.
