Abstract
즉, 본 발명은 기존의 스틸 재질로 된 머플러 소음기를 배기파이프에 조립되는 스틸 엔드 플레이트와 플라스틱 케이스로 이루어진 구조로 새롭게 개선하여, 머플러 소음기 표면에 부식이 발생되는 것을 방지하는 동시에 시동 오프시 이음이 발생하는 것을 용이하게 방지할 수 있도록 한 차량용 플라스틱 머플러 소음기를 제공하고자 한 것이다.

도 2 내지 도 4는 본 발명에 따른 차량용 플라스틱 머플러 소음기의 흡음재 두께에 따라 플라스틱 케이스에 열해가 미치는 여부를 시험한 결과 도면,

도 6은 머플러 소음기의 설치 위치를 나타내는 개략도.

Claims (4)
- 배기파이프(10)에 직접 닿으며 소정 거리로 이격 장착되는 스틸 재질의 엔드플레이트(12)와;
상기 엔드플레이트(12)의 외측단에 조립되는 내열 플라스틱 케이스(14)와;
상기 배기파이프(10)와 내열 플라스틱 케이스(14)의 사이공간에 충진되는 흡음재(16);
를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 플라스틱 머플러 소음기.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 엔드플레이트(12)의 외측단과 내열 플라스틱 케이스(14)의 양측단부는 서로 밀착되어 리벳 또는 볼트(18)로 상호 조립되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 플라스틱 머플러 소음기.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 엔드플레이트(12)의 외측단과 내열 플라스틱 케이스(14)의 양측단부 간의 경계부에 열차단용 가스켓(20)이 삽입된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 플라스틱 머플러 소음기.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 엔드플레이트(12)는 배기파이프(10)의 배기열이 플라스틱 케이스(14)에 직접 전달되지 않도록 바깥쪽에서 안쪽방향으로 경사지게 형성되는 동시에 경사진 구간에 절곡부(22)가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 플라스틱 머플러 소음기.
