상기 작동대(20) 상의 양측에 수직 설치되고, 모터(35)에 의해 축회전되는 한쌍의 커팅날(30a,30b)로 구성되어,
상기 한쌍의 커팅날(30a,30b)이 작동대(20)에 의해 한쌍의 지그(10a,10b)에 고정 설치되는 단열파이프(5) 측으로 이동되면서 단열파이프(5)의 내측방향으로 커팅하면서 진입하고, 상기 일측 지그(10a)의 회전에 의해 단열파이프(5)가 축회전되면서 단열파이프(5)의 양측부가 커팅됨을 특징으로 하는 유리섬유 단열파이프의 사이드 커팅장치.
