Description

Cassette for media dispenser

The present invention relates to a media dispenser, and more particularly, to a cassette for a media dispenser having a device capable of discriminating the winding type of a medium in a cassette containing a medium to be supplied.

The automatic media dispenser may be referred to as a device that performs deposit and withdrawal of media such as cash. Such a media dispenser has a cassette in which a medium to be withdrawn is incorporated. A medium of a predetermined winding type is integrated in the cassette. Such media are integrated in a state aligned in the longitudinal direction and are supported in a state of being pressed in the exit direction of the cassette.

As described above, the media accumulated inside the cassette are discharged to the outside one by one by the frictional force with the pickup roller. The picked-up media is discharged through the transfer roller and guided along a predetermined path, and then is supplied to the user.

However, according to the conventional cassette having such a configuration, it is impossible to confirm the roll type of the medium when it is substantially integrated inside and discharged to the outside. In other words, the inside of the cassette is to be stored in a certain kind of winding type, but if a medium of a different winding type is contained, there is no means for recognizing that the medium is different.

In recent years, it can be said that the winding type is becoming more diversified, and a plurality of cassettes are installed inside the automatic media dispenser according to the winding type. To date, the types of media withdrawn from media dispensers have not varied. However, various kinds of books have recently been published, and accordingly, the types of media that must be withdrawn are increasing.

For example, inside the automatic teller machine, cassettes in which 10,000 won are accumulated and cassettes in which 50,000 won are accumulated are provided, respectively. However, if 50,000 won bills are accumulated in the cassette to which 10,000 won bills are to be accumulated, an error may occur because it is impossible to check the number of pieces according to the above-described conventional configuration when a desired number of money is withdrawn by the user's request.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve such a conventional problem, and a main object of the present invention is to provide a media dispenser having a cassette configured to prevent a different kind of paper from being drawn out.

Such an object of the present invention may be achieved by installing a device capable of recognizing rolled paper in a cassette from which a medium is drawn out, thereby preventing errors in the media dispenser and further increasing reliability.

According to the present invention for achieving the above object, a cassette for a media dispenser for discharging the media integrated therein through an outlet; Pressing means for pressing the integrated medium to the inlet side; Moving means for picking up the pressurized medium and transporting it to the outside; And a sensing means installed on the path of the medium to detect the roll of the medium.

According to an embodiment, the sensing means may be configured as a contact image sensor (CIS) or a color sensor.

According to another embodiment, the moving means comprises a pickup roller for picking up the medium by friction in contact with the medium, and a conveying roller for transporting the medium picked up by the pickup roller to the outside, and the sensing means is picked up. It is installed between the roller and the transfer roller.

According to the present invention as described above, it is possible to accurately check the winding type of the medium supplied from the inside of the cassette to the outside by the sensor. Therefore, even if a different kind of paper is included inside the cassette, it is possible to prevent such a medium from being issued. This means that there is an effect that it is possible to provide a high-reliability media dispenser for various kinds of winding.

1 is an exemplary view showing a sensing process of a cassette of a media dispenser according to the present invention.
Figure 2 is an exemplary view showing a sensing process of the cassette of the automatic media dispenser according to the present invention.

Next, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings.

Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram partially showing the configuration of a cassette in which a medium is integrated in the media dispenser according to the present invention. As shown in the drawing, a plurality of media m of a predetermined winding type are integrated in the cassette 10 mounted in the media dispenser. The space in which the medium m is accumulated in the cassette 10 is formed in a substantially hexahedron shape in the casing 12 of the cassette.

And the banknote pressing device 14 is built in to press the medium m accumulated in the cassette 10 to the inlet side. The pressurizing device 14 is configured to allow a reciprocating section for a predetermined period so as to pressurize the medium m to the inlet side. For example, the banknote pressing device 14 may be configured to press the medium m to one side by using a belt that moves between a pair of pulleys using the power of a driving motor. Alternatively, the banknote pressurizing device 14 may be installed to press the medium m to one side by using a worm and a worm gear.

In the vicinity of the inlet of the cassette 10, a pickup roller 20 for picking up the medium m one by one is provided. The pickup roller 20 includes a part having a large friction force such as rubber and the like, and picks up the medium m one by one by such friction force. A feed roller 22 for transferring the medium m picked up by the pick-up roller 20 to the outside is provided near the entrance. The pickup roller 20 and the transfer roller 22 may be belt connected to be driven by the same drive source.

The contra roller 24 is provided at the inlet side so that the medium can pass between the feed rollers 22. By maintaining the stationary state, the contra roller 24 performs a function of completely separating the medium conveyed from the pickup roller 20 into one sheet with the conveying roller 20. That is, when the medium is picked up by the pickup roller 20, it is to be picked up and transported one by one. However, two sheets may be simultaneously picked up depending on the state of the medium m. In this case, when two sheets are conveyed at the same time, an error occurs. Therefore, when the conveying roller 22 is rotated while the contra roller 24 is in a stationary state, the media are completely separated one by one.

The separated medium is thus discharged completely out of the cassette 10, and is moved along the inner path of the media dispenser to be delivered to the user. The controller 24 is rotated at an angle after, for example, one transaction is completed to prevent uneven wear caused by friction with the medium.

According to the present invention, the sensor 30 is provided on a path through which the medium is picked up from the cassette 10 and discharged to the outside. The sensor 30 is for checking the roll of the discharged medium. That is, in the present invention, to ensure the reliability of the operation by confirming the roll type in the process of discharging the medium accumulated in the cassette 10 to the outside. As described above, there are various kinds of sensors that can check the roll size of the medium. For example, a CIS (contact image sensor) or a color sensor may be used.

The contact image sensor CIS is a sensor capable of reading an image of a contacted object. Therefore, in the case of using such a contact image sensor, it is natural that the image according to the winding type should be stored in the media dispenser. In the case of using a contact image sensor, an image of the medium is read on a path discharged from the cassette to the outside, and the image thus read is compared with an image stored in the media dispenser. And when compared in this way, it is natural that it will be possible to determine whether the current discharged medium corresponds to a predetermined medium.

In another embodiment, a color sensor may be used as the sensor 30. The color sensor is a sensor that can read the color of an object. This use of a color sensor can be said to take advantage of the fact that substantially different media are made based on substantially different colors. Therefore, when the color sensor is used as the sensor 30, it will be possible to determine whether the medium of the correct winding type is being discharged using the color of the discharged medium read from the sensor.

As described above, the cassette of the automatic media dispenser according to the present invention is equipped with a sensor for discriminating the type of media on the path through which the media is discharged to determine whether or not the media of the specified type is supplied. It can be seen that the basic technical idea.

Within the scope of the technical spirit of the present invention as well as other various modifications are possible to those skilled in the art, the protection scope of the present invention should be interpreted based on the appended claims.
