Abstract

PURPOSE: A refrigerator, a control method of a compressor, and a control method of a Kimchi refrigerator are provided to reduce power consumption by equipping with two compressors having different efficiencies and controlling effectively according to the temperature condition inside each refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a compressor comprises the steps of: detecting a difference between the temperature inside a refrigerator and the control temperature(S5); if the difference between the temperature inside a refrigerator and the control temperature is above 15 degrees, operating all compressors having different efficiencies(S10); if the difference between the temperature inside a refrigerator and the control temperature is above 5 degrees or below 15 degrees, operating a high efficiency compressor and stopping a low efficiency compressor(S20); if the difference between the temperature inside a refrigerator and the control temperature is below 5 degrees, stopping a high efficiency compressor and operating a low efficiency compressor(S30).
