Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a processing apparatus for food residues and a method for composting food residues using the same. To this end, the present invention provides a device for crushing food by the rotation of the impeller, so it corresponds to a hammer-type grinding device and relates to the environmentally related art in that it is a device for processing food residues or garbage. It is also related to the technology of agriculture and fertilizer manufacturing to compost food waste to improve soil quality and remove odor.
As the standard of living improves, the amount of leftover and food waste is increasing day by day, and the effective treatment is also a big social problem. To this end, national and local governments select businesses for each zone to treat food waste, but they simply collect and incinerate or bury them without proper means. However, in the incineration and landfill process, not only a large amount of toxic substances such as dioxins are generated, but most of the food wastes are organic substances, and thus, there is a problem that a great odor occurs as they decay. The landfill site is recognized as one of the most hateful places in our society, and the neighboring residents always raise enormous complaints, urging them to relocate.
In order to solve the above garbage disposal problem, each municipality should secure landfills and incinerator sites separately. However, there is a limit to the solution through landfill and therefore it must be solved technically.
Looking at the conventional apparatus for processing food residues, the food residues are collected and placed in a processing plant, and using a manpower or equipment to remove foreign matters such as toothpicks or disinfectors, and pulverizing first by shredder, hammer, screw, etc .; Dehydration by screw crimping, rotary or crimping through a screening net has been carried out by treatment with activated sludge, separators or microorganisms, or by ocean dumping.
However, the above method is not effective in the removal of water, causing problems of contamination of leachate and generation of odor. The water content of the general food residue is about 80 to 85%, which cannot be effectively removed sufficiently only by pressing through such a screw or screen net.
Various methods have been tried to solve the above-mentioned problem of water removal, and the representative one is a composting method using aerobic microorganisms. This method uses aerobic microorganisms to decompose organic substances such as food residues, convert them into inorganic substances, CO 2 and NH 3 , and stabilize them. When the method is used, the food residue is converted into stable humus by the microbial fermentation agent, and finally, dark brown compost is obtained.
However, the composting and methods using aerobic microorganisms take several months to complete the final by-product composting, followed by essential facilities for treatment such as sorting facility, mixing and fermentation facility, impurity removal facility, and aging facility. Therefore, there is a problem that the economy is poor.
The present invention as the first problem to solve the desire to effectively handle the food residues,
In particular, the second task to effectively remove the moisture contained in the food residues,
As a third task to solve the effective composting of the processed food residues,
The final task is to effectively eliminate the odor generated during food residue treatment.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a cylindrical or rectangular parallelepiped body; A hopper installed on one side of the main body to which food residue, quicklime, and goto powder are introduced; Drums provided at both ends of the main body; A first shaft provided outward from the main body in the central portion of the drum; A first gear attached to the first shaft to rotate the first shaft; two second gears meshed with the first gear and rotated; Two second shafts rotated by the rotation of the second gear; A plurality of impellers attached to one surface of the two second shafts; It is attached to one side of the main body; a discharge port for discharging the compost produced in the main body; consisting of a composting device by the high-speed reaction of the food residue composed of the main means.
The composting device by the high-speed reaction of the food residue of the present invention is characterized in that the impeller rotates while being in close contact with each other. When the impellers attached to one surface of the two second shafts are rotated while intersecting with each other when they are rotated in the same direction, the primary shredded food residue particles can be finely pulverized into smaller particles, thereby increasing the effect of the high-speed reaction. You can.
When processing the food residue by using the device by using a method of effectively reducing the moisture contained in the food residue by adding the goto powder and quicklime together, by utilizing the food residue sludge discharged through the apparatus of the present invention as compost By spraying the soil to solve the problems caused by the landfill sludge and the problems that can occur during the application of chemical fertilizers.
Finally, the odor generated when processing the food residue is attached to the outlet of the composting device by the high-speed reaction of the food residue by attaching a conveyor device equipped with a dome-shaped cover device with a suction blower fan for exhausting the odor at the upper end. It can be removed effectively.
The composting device by the high-speed reaction of the food residue according to the present invention has the advantage of being able to efficiently process the food residue in a short time to produce the compost as well as small size, simple equipment and easy maintenance.
In addition, by using the composting device by the high-speed reaction of the food residues of the present invention, when the food residues are processed, the water content of the sludge is about 50%, which can be used as compost directly, which is generated in the existing food waste treatment system. The effects of landfilling of the final sludge and acidification of soil that may occur when excessive fertilizer application is expected to be solved simultaneously. In addition, the present invention can be expected to be effective by reducing the moisture of the food residue by adding the goto powder and quicklime to effectively solve the secondary problems of the food residue treatment apparatus such as leachate and odor generation.
On the other hand, the compost produced in the composting device of the present invention corresponds to about 1% of salt content and is fully aged, and there is no problem even if it is directly sprayed on the crop. Contrary to what is generally known, the problem of food residue compost is not a matter of salinity, but the movement of nitrogen in the soil by spraying unripe compost onto crops, which causes the crops of the early growing season to not absorb enough nitrogen for growth. Is that you can't. However, since the compost produced in the composting device of the present invention is fully matured, even if it is directly sprayed on the crop, there is no fear of nitrogen movement.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS It is a perspective view which shows the structure of the composting apparatus by the high speed reaction of the food residue of this invention. As shown in Fig. 1, the apparatus of the present invention includes a main body having a cylindrical or cuboid shape; A hopper installed on one side of the main body to which food residue, quicklime, and goto powder are introduced; Drums provided at both ends of the main body; A first shaft provided outward from the main body in the central portion of the drum; A first gear attached to the first shaft to rotate the first shaft; two second gears meshed with the first gear and rotated; Two second shafts rotated by the rotation of the second gear; A plurality of impellers attached to one surface of the two second shafts; It is attached to one side of the main body is discharged to discharge the compost manufactured in the main body; consisting of and to attach the conveyor device to the lower end of the discharge port if necessary to automatically transport and package the discharged compost.
The main body may be adopted in various shapes, such as cylindrical or rectangular, as necessary, and a hopper is formed in which the food residue is introduced into one side of the main body. The food residue is introduced through the hopper and goto powder and quicklime are added together for the composting reaction. The food residue, goto powder and quicklime introduced through the hopper should be properly mixed for the composting reaction. In the apparatus of the present invention, two shafts are installed inside the apparatus to economically mix the injected material. Attaching a plurality of impellers on the rotating the impellers by rotating the shaft to mix the reactants, the impellers are configured to rotate in close contact with each other. The process of rotating the impeller in the apparatus of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to FIG.
On the other hand, the goto powder and quicklime that are introduced through the hopper together with the food residue are calcium oxide, and the calcium oxide produces exothermic reactions with moisture contained in the food residue, which removes moisture and is finally alkaline. Has the effect of neutralizing acid soils. The amount of added clay powder and quicklime is to be maintained about 10 to 20% based on the weight ratio of the food residue added, but is not necessarily limited thereto, and may be appropriately adjusted as necessary.
2 is a view showing a rotation state of the impeller in the composting device of the present invention.
In the composting device of the present invention, a first shaft is provided outwardly from the main body at a central portion of a drum attached to both ends of the main body, and a first gear is attached to the first shaft. In addition, the first gear is provided with two second gear adjacent to each other rotated; Two second shafts rotated by the rotation of the second gear; A plurality of impellers are attached to one surface of the two second shafts. According to the above configuration, as the first gear rotates, two adjacent second gears rotate, and the impeller on the second gear rotates in close contact with each other. Rotating in close contact means that the impeller attached to one second shaft and the impeller attached to another second shaft come into contact with each other. By this configuration, the food residue, goto powder and quicklime are thoroughly stirred and mixed. Can be. Therefore, the food friction can be easily crushed due to the increased stirring friction and maximizes the mixing effect of the goto powder and quicklime to facilitate the removal of moisture, odor and fertilizer production.
In order for the impeller attached to the shaft inside the apparatus of the present invention to be rotated in close contact, it is preferable that the shape of the impeller has a rectangular shape, but it is not necessarily limited thereto, and a person skilled in the art can appropriately design, change, and attach the impeller shape. Of course it can. If a particular impeller is of the shape of a conventional stirrer, i.e., a spiral, another adjacent impeller may be shaped like an inverse helical to engage the shape.
Hereinafter, a method for treating food residues and a method for preparing compost by using the apparatus of the present invention will be described in detail.
The food residue and goto powder, quicklime, etc. are added to the hopper of the apparatus of the present invention and mixed. The goto powder and quicklime, which are added as described above, maintain about 10 to 20% of the food residue by weight. In addition, the food residue added is approximately 85 to 95% of water content. The moisture is reduced by about 50% tablets through the reaction with goto powder, quicklime as described above. As moisture is reduced, secondary problems associated with food residue treatment, such as leachate generation, are also addressed. Since the reaction is exothermic, a separate device for causing a reaction such as a boiler or a heat exchanger is not required. In addition, since goto powder and quicklime are alkaline in themselves, the resultant compost is calcium carbide through metabolism of cellulose and organic matter, and may be sprayed directly onto the soil.
