Abstract

디바이스를 제어하는 제어 디바이스가 개시된다. 본 제어 디바이스는 적어도 하나의 디바이스와 연결가능하며, 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하는 디스플레이부 및, 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하며, 각 프레임에 해당 콘텐츠가 디스플레이 되도록 디스플레이부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 사용자가 연결된 디바이스의 기능 또는 콘텐츠를 쉽게 인지하여, 디바이스의 제어를 용이하게 할 수 있다.

Description

제어 디바이스 및 그 제어 방법{Control device and controlling method thereof}
본 발명은 제어 디바이스 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 적어도 하나의 디바이스를 제어하는 제어 디바이스 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것이다.
최근 영상 및 음성 매체가 발전함에 따라 홈 네트워크 내에 연결될 수 있는 디바이스들의 종류가 점점 다양화되고, 각 디바이스의 기능도 복잡해지고 있다.
한편, 이러한 디바이스 중 하나의 디바이스를 통해 다른 연결된 디바이스들을 제어할 수 있다. 이러한 디바이스를 이하, 제어 디바이스라 한다.
종래의 제어 디바이스는 다른 연결된 디바이스를 제어하기 위한 제어메뉴를 사용자에게 제공한다. 이때, 제공되는 제어 메뉴는 연결된 디바이스들의 목록을 표시하며, 사용자는 목록에서 디바이스를 선택하여 제어모드로 진입하게 된다.
이에 따라, 사용자는 디바이스를 일일히 선택하여 제어모드 진입 후에 디바이스의 콘텐츠 및, 기능을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 특정 디바이스에 검색하는 콘텐츠가 없는 경우에는 새로운 디바이스의 제어모드로 진입한 후에 재검색을 해야 한다는 불편함이 있었다.
본 발명은 상술한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로서, 본 발명의 목적은 연결된 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션마다 프레임을 생성하고, 생성된 프레임에 해당 콘텐츠를 디스플레이하여, 외부 디바이스 제어를 용이하게 하는 제어 디바이스 및 그 제어방법을 제공함에 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따르면, 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결가능한 제어 디바이스는, 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하는 디스플레이부, 및, 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하며, 상기 각 프레임에 해당 콘텐츠가 디스플레이 되도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 현재 프레임을 축소하고, 축소된 프레임의 일측에 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 각각의 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에 대한, 콘텐츠 및 콘텐츠 목록 중 어느 하나가 해당 프레임 내에서 재생되도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 상기 프레임 및 추가되는 프레임을 일렬로 정 렬하여 디스플레이하도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 상기 정렬된 프레임을 사용자 선택에 따라 네비게이션 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 상기 정렬된 프레임에 복수 개의 2차원 프레임을 중첩하여 3차원적으로 디스플레이하며, 상기 중첩된 2차원 프레임은 해당 디바이스 및 애플리케이션에서 액세스한 콘텐츠 순으로 정렬하도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 상기 정렬된 프레임을 상하 또는 좌우로 네비게이션 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 상기 정렬된 프레임 중 하나가 선택되면, 선택된 프레임을 전체화면으로 확대하여 디스플레이할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 제어부는 상기 선택된 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션의 동작을 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 사용자 명령을 입력받는 입력부를 더 포함하며, 상기 입력부를 통해, 상기 디스플레이부의 화면 내에 디스플레이 가능한 프레임 개수, 프레임 삭제, 프레임 추가, 프레임 크기, 프레임 순서 중 적어도 하나를 설정받을 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따르면, 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결된 제어 디바이스의 UI제공방법은 (a) 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하는 단계, (b) 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 상기 디바이스들에 포함된 콘 텐츠에 따라 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하는 단계 및, (c) 상기 프레임 각각에, 해당 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에 대한 콘텐츠를 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 (b)단계는 상기 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 축소하는 단계 및, 상기 축소된 프레임의 일측에 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하여 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 프레임들을 일렬로 정렬하여 디스플레이하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 정렬된 프레임을 사용자 입력에 따라 네비게이션 제어할 수 있다.
바람직하게는, 상기 정렬된 프레임에 복수 개의 2차원 프레임을 중첩하여 3차원적으로 디스플레이하며, 상기 중첩된 2차원 프레임은 해당 디바이스 및 애플리케이션에서 최근 액세스한 콘텐츠 순으로 정렬할 수 있다.

한편, 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 컴퓨터 기록매체는, 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결가능한 제어 디바이스에서 상기 디바이스를 제어하는 제어방법을 실행하기 위한 적어도 하나의 실행 프로그램을 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다양한 실시 예에 따르면, 연결된 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션마다 프레임을 생성하고, 생성된 프레임에 해당 콘텐츠를 디스플레이함으로써, 사용자가 외부 디바이스의 기능 또는 콘텐츠를 쉽게 인지할 수 있게 한다.
또한, 각 디바이스에서 제공되는 콘텐츠를 특정 기능별로 분류하여 제공함으로써, 사용자의 콘텐츠 검색을 용이하게 할 수 있으며, 콘텐츠를 제공하는 디바이스도 쉽게 인식할 수 있어, 사용자의 이용편의성이 확대된다.
이하에서, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 대하여 자세하게 설명한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 제어 디바이스의 구성을 나타내는 블록도이다. 도 1에 따르면, 제어 디바이스(100)는 제어부(110) 및 디스플레이부(120)를 포함한다. 여기서, 제어 디바이스(100)는 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스(미도시)와 연결되어 외부기기의 동작 제어를 위한 UI를 제공할 수 있다.
한편, 디바이스는 디지털 TV, DVD 플레이어, MP3 플레이어, PMP, 핸드폰, 캠코더, 디지털 카메라, 저장매체, pc 등이 될 수 있으며, 네트워크 등을 통해 서로 연결될 수 있다. 이러한 홈 네트워크 환경에서, 상기 디바이스들 중 디스플레이 기능을 구비한 디바이스라면, 제어 디바이스(100)가 될 수 있다. 한편, 본 실시 예에 서는 제어 디바이스(100)가 DTV인 경우를 예로 설명한다.
제어부(110)는 제어 디바이스(100)의 동작, 외부 디바이스와의 네트워크 연결, 및 네트워크 연결된 외부 디바이스 제어와 관련한 전반적인 동작을 제어할 수 있다. 즉, 제어부(110)는 홈 네트워크 내의 다른 디바이스들과 양방향 통신을 수행함으로써, 자신에 연결된 복수의 디바이스들을 제어하고, 각각의 디바이스에서 정보를 전송받을 수 있다.
디스플레이부(120)는 제어부(110)의 제어하에, 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이한다.
제어부(110)는 외부 디바이스 제어를 위한 사용자 명령이 수신되면, 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하도록 디스플레이부(120)를 제어한다. 이때, 기설치된 애플리케이션에 해당하는 컨텐츠가 외부 디바이스에 포함된 경우, 해당 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임이 생성될 수 있다.한편, 제어부(110)는 기설치된 애플리케이션이라도 해당 컨텐츠가 없으면 프레임을 생성하지 않는다.
제어부(110)는 연결된 외부 디바이스가 없는 경우 및, 제어 디바이스(100) 제어를 위한 사용자 명령이 수신되는 경우, 제어 디바이스(100) 내의 콘텐츠에 따라 기설치된 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 제공하여 제어 디바이스(100)의 기능을 제어할 수도 있다. 이 경우에도, 제어부(110)는 기설치된 애플리케이션이라도 해당 컨텐츠가 없으면 프레임을 생성하지 않는다.
여기서, 애플리케이션은 외부 디바이스 및 제어 디바이스(100)로부터 제공되 는 콘텐츠들을 사용자 목적에 맞게 분류하는 프로그램이 될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 사용자가 동영상, 위젯, 음악파일, 사진 등으로 콘텐츠를 분류한 경우, 디스플레이부(120)는 콘텐츠 존재 여부에 따라 각 분류별로 프레임을 생성하게 된다.
구체적으로, 제어디바이스(100)가 방송 프로그램을 수신하고, 동영상을 저장하고 있을 때, 제어부(110)는 제어디바이스(100)에 대한 제어명령이 입력되면, 방송 프로그램 또는 동영상을 재생하고 있는 현재 프레임을 축소하고, 방송프로그램에 대한 프레임 및, 동영상에 대한 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하도록 디스플레이부(120)를 제어한다.
한편, 외부 디바이스에 대한 제어명령이 수신되면, 제어부(110)는 현재 프레임을 축소하고, 복수 개의 외부 디바이스 각각에 대한 프레임, 및 디바이스들이 제공하는 콘텐츠를 특정기능에 의해 분류하는 애플리케이션에 대한 프레임을 생성하여 현재 프레임 일측으로 디스플레이할 수 있다.
도 2는 본 발명의 다른 실시 예에 따른 제어 디바이스의 구성을 나타내는 블록도이다. 도 2에 따르면, 도 1의 제어 디바이스(100) 구성에 입력부(130)를 더 포함한다. 한편, 제어부(110) 및 디스플레이부(120)는 도 1과 동일한 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
입력부(130)는 사용자 명령을 입력받는 역할을 한다. 본 발명에서, 사용자 명령은 제어 디바이스(100) 또는 외부 디바이스에 대한 제어명령, 및 프레임 설정을 위한 사용자 명령이 될 수 있다.
제어부(110)는 외부 디바이스 제어에 대한 명령을 수신하면, 콘텐츠가 재생 되고 있는 현재 프레임을 축소하고, 축소된 현재 프레임의 일측으로 프레임을 추가하여 일렬로 정렬배치하도록 디스플레이부(120)를 제어한다.
디스플레이부(120)는 추가된 프레임에 해당 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에서 제공되는 콘텐츠를 재생하거나, 콘텐츠 목록을 디스플레이할 수 있다.
즉, 디스플레이부(120)는 제어부(110)로 부터 음악파일을 분류하는 애플리케이션, TV, 및 디지털 카메라에 대한 프레임을 생성하도록 제어받은 경우, 각각의 프레임을 생성한다. 또한, 디스플레이부(120)는 음악파일을 분류하는 애플리케이션에 대한 프레임에, 홈 네트워크에 연결된 디바이스에서 제공되는 음악파일에 대한 목록을 생성하여 디스플레이할 수 있다. 또한, TV에 대한 프레임에는 방송신호를 출력하고, 디지털 카메라에 대한 프레임에는 사진파일을 디스플레이할 수 있다.
한편, 제어 디바이스의 제어 동작과 관련한 구체적인 설명은 도 3a 내지 도4를 통해 설명하도록 한다.
도 3a 내지 도 3b는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 제어 디바이스의 UI제공 방법을 설명하기 위한 모식도이다. 도 3a에 따르면, 사용자에 의해 선택된 방송신호가 화면(200)을 통해 출력되고 있다. 제어 디바이스(100)의 기본 기능이 수행되고 있는 상태에서, 외부 디바이스 제어 명령이 입력되면, 도 3b같이 전체 화면 크기의 현재 프레임이 축소되어 디스플레이된다. 또한, 현재 프레임 일측에 다른 프레임들이 추가된다.
화면(200)에 디스플레이된 프레임들은 일렬로 정렬되며, 사용자의 제어방향에 따라 네비게이션될 수 있다. 도 3c에 따르면, 사용자에 의해 왼쪽으로 네비게이 션되어, 일렬로 배치된 프레임들이 왼쪽으로 이동된다.
도 3d에서, 디스플레이된 프레임들 중 하나의 프레임이 선택되면, 도 3e, 도3f와 같이 선택된 프레임이 확대되어 전체화면으로 디스플레이된다.
이때, 제어부(110)는 확대되는 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에 의해 분류된 콘텐츠들을 제어할 수 있다. 즉, 도 3f와 같이 음악파일에 대한 애플리케이션이 선택된 경우, 목록상의 음악파일을 재생할 수 있으며 연결된 디바이스 중 어느 디바이스에서 제공되는 것인지도 확인할 수 있다.
즉, 디스플레이부(120)를 통해 제공되는 프레임들이 선택가능한 메뉴가 된다. 여기서, 디스플레이부(120)에서 제공되는 프레임에는 프레임들을 관리하기 위한 프레임 매니저를 제공할 수도 있다.
도 3g에서, 사용자에 의해 프레임 매니저가 선택되면, 프레임 매니저가 전체화면으로 확대되어 디스플레이되고 프레임 매니저 모드로 진입된다. 도 3h에 따르면, 프레임 메니저는 외부 디바이스 제어명령에 따라 디스플레이된 복수 개의 프레임들이 디스플레이하고, 디스플레이된 프레임들의 배열순서를 설정하는 버튼(a), 프레임 삭제 버튼(b), 프레임 사이즈를 조정하는 버튼(c, d) 및 화면 내에 디스플레이되는 프레임의 개수를 설정하기 위한 버튼(e)을 구비한다. 또한, 프레임 추가버튼 및, 전체 프레임 개수를 설정하기 위한 버튼 등이 더 구비될 수 있다.
도 3h에서는 화면 내에 디스플레이되는 프레임 개수가 3개로 설정되어 3개의 프레임이 한 화면 내에 포함되도록 디스플레이되어 있다. 한편, 2개로 설정되면 프레임 매니저에는 2개의 프레임이 디스플레이될 수 있다. 즉, 미리보기와 같은 기능 을 수행한다.
한편, 도 3a 내지 도 3h에서는 프레임들이 일렬로 배치되는 실시 예에 대해서만 도시하였으나, 도 4와 같이 3차원적으로 디스플레이할 수도 있다.
도 4는 본 발명의 다른 실시 예에 따른 제어 디바이스의 UI제공방법을 설명하기 위한 모식도이다. 도 3a와 같이, 일렬로 정렬된 프레임을 기준으로, 복수 개의 2차원 프레임이 중첩되어 3차원적으로 디스플레이할 수 있다.
여기서, 중첩되는 2차원 프레임들(10, 20, 30)은 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에서 최근 액세스된 콘텐츠 순으로 정렬될 수 있다.
도 4에서는, 영화에 대하여 분류한 애플리케이션에 대한 프레임으로, 사용자에 의해 최근 액세스된 순서로 영화 장면이 디스플레이 된다. 한편, 각 영상콘텐츠의 오디오신호가 재생될 경우, 사용자에게 혼란을 줄 수 있으므로 모든 프레임 내에 디스플레이되는 콘텐츠의 오디오는 뮤트 시키는 것이 바람직하다. 또한, 사용자의 설정에 따라, 모든 동영상을 재생하지 않고 최상위의 콘텐츠만 재생하고 하위콘텐츠는 정지영상만을 디스플레이하도록 할 수도 있다.
결과적으로, 제어대상 디바이스에 대한 콘텐츠를 프레임을 통해 디스플레이하여 사용자가 디바이스 정보를 인지하기 용이하며, 각 프레임 자체가 디바이스 진입 메뉴가 되므로 진입방법이 간단해진다.
한편, 도 2 내지 도 4에서는 제어 디바이스(100)에 연결된 외부 디바이스의 콘텐츠 또는 콘텐츠 종류에 따라 분류된 콘텐츠 목록을 디스플레이하는 프레임에 대하여 실시하였으나, 연결된 외부 디바이스가 없는 경우에는 제어 디바이스(100) 내의 콘텐츠 종류별로 프레임을 제공하여 제어 디바이스(100)의 기능을 제어할 수도 있다. 이에 따라, 콘텐츠 검색이 용이해 질 수 있다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 제어 디바이스의 제어방법을 설명하기 위한 흐름도이다. 도 5에 따르면, 제어 디바이스(100)의 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이한다(S510). 이때, 프레임내에는 제어 디바이스(100)의 콘텐츠가 재생된다.
다음으로, 외부 디바이스 제어에 대한 사용자 명령이 입력되면(S520), 제어 디바이스의 프레임을 기설정된 사이즈로 축소하고(S530), 연결된 외부 디바이스 또는 기 설치된 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 생성하여 추가한다(S540).
이때, 추가되는 프레임들은 축소된 제어 디바이스(100)의 프레임 일측에 배치될 수 있다(S550). 이때, 배치는 일렬로 정렬되거나, 3차원적으로 정렬되어 사용자의 네비게이션을 용이하게 할 수 있다.
한편, 각 프레임에는 대응하는 디바이스에서 제공되는 콘텐츠가 재생되거나, 콘텐츠목록이 디스플레이될 수 있다. 또는, 기설치된 애플리케이션에 의해 분류된 콘텐츠가 재생되거나 콘텐츠목록이 디스플레이될 수도 있다. 이에 따라, 사용자는 각 프레임 내의 콘텐츠를 쉽게 파악할 수 있게 된다.
다음으로, 사용자에 입력에 따라 디스플레이된 프레임을 좌우 또는 상하좌우로 네비게이션하여 특정 프레임을 선택할 수 있다(S560). 특정 프레임이 선택되면 선택된 프레임을 전체화면으로 확대되어 디스플레이되고(S570), 해당 프레임의 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션 제어모드로 진입하게 된다. 이에 따라, 선택된 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스의 동작을 제어할 수 있게 된다.
한편, 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따르면, 컴퓨터 기록매체는, 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결가능한 제어 디바이스(100)에서 디바이스들을 제어하는 제어방법을 실행하기 위한 적어도 하나의 실행 프로그램을 포함할 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명의 각 블럭들은 컴퓨터 판독가능한 기록매체상의 컴퓨터 기록가능한 코드로써 실시될 수 있다. 컴퓨터 판독가능한 기록매체는 컴퓨터시스템에 의해 판독될 수 있는 데이터를 저장할 수 있는 디바이스가 될 수 있다.
예를 들어, 컴퓨터 판독가능한 기록매체는 롬(ROM), 램(RAM), 씨디-롬(CD-ROMs), 마그네틱 테이프, 플로피 디스크, 광디스크, 광 데이터 저장 디바이스 및 상기 저장 디바이스를 포함하는 텔레비전과 같은 영상디스플레이 장치 등이 될 수 있다. 또한, 컴퓨터 판독가능한 코드는 반송파의 컴퓨터 데이터 신호로 실시될 수 있다.
또한, 이상에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시 예에 대하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 실시 예에 한정되지 아니하며, 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진자에 의해 다양한 변형실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 이러한 변형실시들은 본 발명의 기술적 사상이나 전망으로부터 개별적으로 이해되어 져 서는 안될 것이다.

Claims (25)

  1. 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결가능한 제어 디바이스에 있어서,
    프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하는 디스플레이부; 및,
    상기 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하며, 상기 각 프레임에 해당 콘텐츠가 디스플레이 되도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어하는 제어부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    현재 프레임을 축소하고, 축소된 프레임의 일측에 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    각각의 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에 대한, 콘텐츠 및 콘텐츠 목록 중 어느 하나가 해당 프레임 내에서 재생되도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    상기 프레임 및 추가되는 프레임을 일렬로 정렬하여 디스플레이하도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    상기 정렬된 프레임을 사용자 선택에 따라 네비게이션 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  6. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    상기 정렬된 프레임에 복수 개의 2차원 프레임을 중첩하여 3차원적으로 디스플레이하며, 상기 중첩된 2차원 프레임은 해당 디바이스 및 애플리케이션에서 액세스한 콘텐츠 순으로 정렬하도록 상기 디스플레이부를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  7. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    상기 정렬된 프레임을 상하 또는 좌우로 네비게이션 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  8. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    상기 정렬된 프레임 중 하나가 선택되면, 선택된 프레임을 전체화면으로 확대하여 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  9. 제8항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부는,
    상기 선택된 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션의 동작을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  10. 제5항에 있어서,
    사용자 명령을 입력받는 입력부;를 더 포함하며,
    상기 입력부를 통해, 상기 디스플레이부의 화면 내에 디스플레이 가능한 프레임 개수, 프레임 삭제, 프레임 추가, 프레임 크기, 프레임 순서 중 적어도 하나를 설정받는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스.
  11. 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결가능한 제어 디바이스의 제어방법에 있어서,
    (a) 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하는 단계;
    (b) 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 상기 디바이스들에 포함된 콘텐츠에 따라 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하는 단계; 및,
    (c) 상기 프레임 각각에, 해당 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션에 대한 콘텐츠를 디스플레이하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서,
    상기 (b)단계는,
    상기 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 축소하는 단계; 및,
    상기 축소된 프레임의 일측에 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 상기 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하여 디스플레이하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  13. 제11항에 있어서,
    상기 프레임들을 일렬로 정렬하여 디스플레이하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  14. 제13항에 있어서,
    상기 정렬된 프레임을 사용자 입력에 따라 네비게이션 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  15. 제13항에 있어서,
    상기 정렬된 프레임에 복수 개의 2차원 프레임을 중첩하여 3차원적으로 디스플레이하며, 상기 중첩된 2차원 프레임은 해당 디바이스 및 애플리케이션에서 최근 액세스한 콘텐츠 순으로 정렬하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  16. 제15항에 있어서,
    상기 정렬된 프레임을 상하 또는 좌우로 네비게이션 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  17. 제14항에 있어서,
    상기 정렬된 프레임 중 하나가 선택되면, 선택된 프레임을 전체화면으로 확대하여 디스플레이하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  18. 제17항에 있어서,
    상기 선택된 프레임에 대응하는 디바이스 또는 애플리케이션의 동작을 제어하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제어 디바이스의 제어방법.
  19. 적어도 하나의 외부 디바이스와 연결가능한 제어 디바이스에서 상기 디바이 스를 제어하는 제어방법을 실행하기 위한 실행 프로그램을 포함하는 컴퓨터 기록매체에 있어서, 상기 제어방법은,
    (a) 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 생성하여 디스플레이하는 단계;
    (b) 상기 외부 디바이스 또는 상기 디바이스들에 포함된 콘텐츠 종류에 따라 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하는 단계; 및,
    (c) 상기 프레임 각각에, 해당 애플리케이션에 대한 콘텐츠를 디스플레이하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
  20. 제19항에 있어서,
    상기 (b)단계는,
    상기 애플리케이션에 대응하는 프레임을 축소하는 단계; 및,
    상기 축소된 프레임의 일측에 상기 콘텐츠 종류에 따라 기설치된 애플리케이션 각각에 대응하는 프레임을 추가하여 디스플레이하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
  21. 제19항에 있어서,
    상기 (c)단계는,
    상기 프레임들을 일렬로 정렬하여 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
  22. 제21항에 있어서,
    상기 (c)단계는,
    상기 제어방법은, 상기 정렬된 프레임에 복수 개의 2차원 프레임을 중첩하여 3차원적으로 디스플레이하며, 상기 중첩된 2차원 프레임은 해당 디바이스 및 애플리케이션에서 최근 액세스한 콘텐츠 순으로 정렬하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
  23. 제22항에 있어서,
    상기 정렬된 프레임을 상하 또는 좌우로 네비게이션 제어하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
  24. 제21항에 있어서,
    상기 정렬된 프레임 중 하나가 선택되면, 선택된 프레임을 전체화면으로 확대하여 디스플레이하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
  25. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 선택된 프레임에 대응하는 애플리케이션의 콘텐츠를 제어하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 기록매체.
