Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for recognizing and managing text messages related to payments such as credit cards using a mobile terminal. In particular, the portable terminal of the present invention determines whether the received text message is related to payment information through pattern matching according to a calling party number and a detection rule of the received text message. In addition, the portable terminal parses the received payment details message according to a predetermined parsing rule, and displays the result on a display unit for each item so as to be managed.
With the rapid spread of mobile terminals, the population of SMS services is growing rapidly. The SMS service is already established as one of the means of communication because the contents can be delivered almost simultaneously with the time of dispatch. In particular, the user may receive information such as weather, weather forecast, stock information, etc. using the SMS service.
At the same time, a service for informing the payment details through SMS of a mobile terminal upon payment of a credit card or the like is also widely available. This information is widely used because it has the effect of inspecting payment history in real time and preventing card theft or incorrect payment.
