Claims (9)
- OLED패널의 특성값이 저장되는 패널특성 모델부;상기 OLED패널의 특성값을 기준으로 이미지 정보가 디스플레이되는 각 라인에서의 오프셋저항을 연산하는 오프셋 연산부;상기 오프셋저항을 기준으로 이미지 정보가 디스플레이되는 픽셀에 대한 저항을 연산하는 픽셀저항 연산부; 및상기 픽셀저항을 계조 값과 연산하여 이미지 편차를 보정하고, 이미지 편차가 보정된 새로운 계조전류를 상기 OLED패널로 전송하는 이미지 변환부를 포함하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 패널특성 모델부는상기 OLED패널을 다수의 발광다이오드와 각 발광다이오드에 전류를 공급하는 와이어의 저항으로 모델화하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 패널특성 모델부에 저장되는 상기 OLED패널의 특성값은,상기 OLED패널의 저항에 대한 고유상수와, 상기 OLED패널에 스캔전압을 공급하는 공통라인의 수직간격에 대한 저항과, 상기 공통라인의 수평간격에 대한 저항 과, 상기 OLED패널에 계조전류를 공급하는 소스라인의 수직간격에 대한 저항, 및 소스라인 상에서 인접 픽셀 간의 저항을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 오프셋 연산부는상기 공통라인의 수직간격에 대한 오프셋저항과, 상기 공통라인의 수평간격에 대한 오프셋저항과, 상기 소스라인의 수직간격에 대한 오프셋저항, 및 소스라인 상에서 인접 픽셀 간의 오프셋저항을 각각 연산하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 픽셀저항 연산부는상기 공통라인이 우수라인인 경우의 픽셀저항과 기수라인인 경우의 픽셀저항이 각각 상이하게 연산되도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 이미지 변환부는조건연산자를 이용하여 상기 공통라인이 우수라인이면 상기 픽셀저항 연산부에서 구한 우수라인 픽셀저항을 선택하고, 기수라인이면 상기 픽셀저항 연산부에서 구한 기수라인 픽셀저항을 선택하며, 선택된 각 픽셀저항을 계조전류와 연산하여 이미지 편차의 보정을 위한 새로운 계조전류를 생성하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 이미지 변환부에 입력되는 계조 값은 감마보정이 이루어진 이미지 정보의 계조 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정장치.
- OLED패널의 저항모델을 형성하기 위해 공통라인의 수직 및 수평간격에 대한 저항과, 소스라인의 수직 및 수평간격에 대한 저항과, 저항에 대한 고유상수 등의 패널 특성값을 패널특성 모델부에 저장하는 단계;상기 패널 특성값에 의해 오프셋 연산부에서 상기 공통라인의 수직 및 수평간격에 대한 오프셋저항과, 상기 소스라인의 수직간격에 대한 오프셋저항과, 소스라인 상에서의 인접 픽셀간의 오프셋저항을 연산하는 단계;상기 오프셋저항에 의해 픽셀저항 연산부에서 상기 OLED패널의 우수라인과 기수라인에 대한 픽셀저항을 상이하게 연산하는 픽셀저항 연산단계; 및상기 공통라인이 우수라인이면 이미지 변환부에서 우수라인 픽셀저항을 선택하고, 기수라인이면 기수라인 픽셀저항을 선택하며, 선택된 픽셀저항에 의해 계조값을 변환하여 이미지 편차 보정 후 소스라인으로 전송하는 이미지 변환단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 이미지 변환단계에서 상기 이미지 변환부로 입력되는 이미지정보의 계조전류는 감마보정이 이미지 편차 보정보다 선행하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동형 유기발광 다이오드의 이미지 편차 보정방법.
