Claims (4)
- 차량 작동가능 탑승자 구속(restraining) 시스템을 제어하는 장치로서,차량 충돌 상태(condition)를 감지하고 이 상태를 나타내는 충돌 판별 신호를 제공하는 충돌 판별 센서(discrimination crash sensor);제1 차량 크러쉬 존 위치에 위치되어 있는 제1 크러쉬 존 센서로서, 상기 제1 크러쉬 존 센서(crush zone sensor)에 의해 감지되는 충돌 가속도를 나타내는 제1 크러쉬 존 신호를 제공하는 것인 상기 제1 크러쉬 존 센서;제2 차량 크러쉬 존 위치에 위치되어 있는 제2 크러쉬 존 센서로서, 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 센서에 의해 감지되는 충돌 가속도를 나타내는 제2 크러쉬 존 신호를 제공하는 것인 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 센서;상기 제1 크러쉬 존 센서 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 센서를 모니터링하는 크러쉬 존 안전 판정 수단(crush zone safing determining means)으로서, 상기 제1 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 센서 신호 중 하나가 문턱값을 초과하고 상기 제1 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 센서 신호 중 다른 하나가 장애(faulty)신호인 것에 응답하여 크러쉬 존 안전 신호를 제공하는 것인 상기 크러쉬 존 안전 판정 수단; 및상기 충돌 판별 신호 및 상기 크러쉬 존 안전 신호를 모니터링하고, 이들 신호에 응답하여 작동가능 구속 장치를 제어하는 제어기를 포함하는, 차량 작동가능 탑승자 구속 시스템의 제어 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 센서의 동작을 모니터링하고 이 동작을 나타내는 신호를 제공하는 진단 판정 수단(diagnostic determining means)을 더 포함하는, 차량 작동가능 탑승자 구속 시스템의 제어 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 진단 판정 수단은 순환 중복 검사(cyclic redundancy check)를 수행하는 것인, 차량 작동가능 탑승자 구속 시스템의 제어 장치.
- 차량 작동가능 탑승자 구속 시스템을 제어하는 방법으로서,차량 충돌 상태를 감지하고 이 상태를 나타내는 충돌 판별 신호를 제공하는 단계;제1 차량 크러쉬 위치에서 충돌 가속도를 모니터링하고 그 위치에서 감지된 충돌 가속도를 나타내는 제1 크러쉬 존 신호를 제공하는 단계;제2 차량 크러쉬 위치에서 충돌 가속도를 모니터링하고 그 위치에서 감지된 충돌 가속도를 나타내는 제2 크러쉬 존 신호를 제공하는 단계;상기 제1 크러쉬 존 신호 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 신호를 모니터링하고, 상기 제1 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 신호 중 하나가 문턱값을 초과하고 상기 제1 및 상기 제2 크러쉬 존 신호 중 다른 하나가 장애(faulty)신호인 것에 응답하여 크러쉬 존 안전 신호를 제공하는 단계; 및상기 충돌 판별 신호 및 상기 크러쉬 존 안전 신호를 모니터링하고, 이들 신호에 응답하여 작동가능 구속 장치를 제어하는 단계를 포함하는, 차량 작동가능 탑 승자 구속 시스템의 제어 방법.
