Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fabric softener composition, and more particularly to a fabric softener composition having an antibacterial and deodorant effect.
Drying of laundry is generally performed by daylight and wind of day. In particular, the sterilization of the laundry is carried out with drying by the sun when drying by direct sunlight. However, in recent years, night washing is increased due to the increase of double income, and it is difficult to dry naturally due to sunlight due to the change in the residential environment, and the laundry is dried in the room. Therefore, if the contaminated laundry or the old laundry is not completely removed even after washing, the sterilization is not performed by daylight, and an unpleasant odor may occur even after drying due to the growth of microorganisms.
In our daily lives, the detection of malaise is the result of several chemical and physical reactions that reach the olfactory organs, where volatiles are absorbed by the epithelial cells of the olfactory cell, resulting in changes and dislocation stimuli. It is delivered to the brain to detect this discomfort. Various methods have been used to remove or prevent these odors, for example, chemical removal, physicochemical removal, biochemical removal and sensory deodorization.
Among the various methods described above, a method of masking with aromatic fragrance, that is, a sensory deodorizing method has been mainly used. However, relying on such masking has a disadvantage in that after the occurrence of the odor, a more odor is caused by the interaction between the causative agent and the fragrance. In other words, most products on the market as a finishing agent after washing show excellent effects in imparting antistatic effect and softening effect of laundry, but mainly rely on sensational deodorization using fragrance. The removal of the unpleasant odor generated at the time of drying is showing a limit.
Recently, the development of a fabric softener (rinse) composition containing an antibacterial component has been made, but these techniques are mainly to achieve through the addition of a chemical to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, the added chemical after drying If left in the fiber is harmful to the human body, if discharged into the sewage has a problem of polluting the environment.
Natural extracts with antimicrobial, bactericidal and antiseptic effects are known, such as grapefruit seed extract and eugalyptus oil. In addition, natural extracts having a deodorant effect, such as green tea or bamboo extract, are also known. Natural extracts are generally harmless to humans and are environmentally friendly. The inventors of the present invention, without deteriorating the fiber softening effect or the antistatic effect of the conventional fabric softener, to study how much natural extracts of what kind to contain the antimicrobial and deodorant effect to the fabric softener composition Has come. The inventors of the present invention, through the experiment of combining various kinds of natural extracts with conventional fabric softener composition, harmless to the human body, environmentally friendly, cheap and easy to obtain in large quantities, antibacterial effect and the effect of protecting the skin A fabric softener composition was found.
Dishwashing detergent composition according to the present invention is the result of the experiment of blending a variety of natural extracts to the conventional fabric softener composition. An object of the present invention is to add a natural extract suitable to the conventional fabric softener composition, to provide a fabric softener composition that does not irritate the skin of the user, non-toxic to the human body and has an antibacterial and deodorizing effect. In addition, an object of the present invention is to add a natural extract to the conventional fabric softener composition, to provide a fabric softener composition that can effectively sterilize microorganisms that are not environmentally friendly and harmful to humans.
The fabric softener composition according to the present invention includes a eucalyptus extract and grapefruit seed extract as an active ingredient, and is a fabric softener composition containing a cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, water and the like. It has already been known before the present invention that eucalyptus extracts and grapefruit seed extracts have bactericidal effects against a variety of microorganisms, including bacteria and viruses such as bacteria. However, such natural extracts are mixed with other components of the fabric softener composition in concentrations in a range that is harmless to the human body to simultaneously exhibit bactericidal or antibacterial effects while maintaining sufficient fiber softening effect without affecting other components of the fabric softener. It was not foreseeable that the fabric softener composition could be provided. In the present invention, the eucalyptus extract and grapefruit seed extract is preferably 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of the total weight of the composition, respectively. If the eucalyptus extract and grapefruit seed extract is less than 0.1% by weight, the antimicrobial and bactericidal effect is weakened, and if it is more than 1.0% by weight, the fiber softening effect is lowered.
In addition, the fabric softener composition according to the present invention preferably further comprises a mixed extract of baekbu, Bupyeongcho, Seokchangpo, Ginkgo biloba, green tea, chitosan in order to add a deodorant effect and reinforce the antibacterial effect. The mixed extract of Baekbu, Bupyeongcho, Seokpo, Ginkgo biloba, green tea, and chitosan is preferably 0.1 to 1% by weight of the total weight of the composition.
The fabric softener composition according to the present invention contains 5 to 15% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of the cationic surfactant used in the known fabric softener as the softening component. The nonionic surfactant is not particularly limited as long as it can be generally used in the fabric softener composition, for example, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, coconut diethanolamide, fatty acid alkanolamine, amine oxide, alkyl polyglucoside, methyl One or more selected from the group consisting of polyethylene alkyl ethers, sugar ethers and the like can be used. The nonionic surfactant is preferably included in about 3 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the fabric softener composition of the present invention. This is because when the nonionic surfactant is used in an amount less than 3% by weight, the softening effect or the antistatic effect is weak, and when it is used in excess of 10% by weight, it is uneconomical.
In particular, the fabric softener composition according to the invention, including the eucalyptus oil and grapefruit seed extract oil to have an antibacterial and bactericidal effect. In addition, the fabric softener composition according to the present invention further comprises a mixed extract of baekbu, Bupyeongcho, Seokpo, Ginkgo biloba, green tea, chitosan to have a deodorant or deodorizing effect. The green tea extract neutralizes contaminants and odor components such as ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan after washing by the complex action of the tannin component, which is a flavonoid derivative, with polyphenols, condensed tannins, and organic polymers. And odorous substances are removed by chemical deodorization such as addition, substitution, reduction, and physical inclusion, adsorption, and absorption. When these natural mixed extracts are used simultaneously with eucalyptus oil and grapefruit seed extract oil, they show synergistic effects of deodorant, bactericidal and antimicrobial effects. In the fiber rinsing composition according to the present invention, the natural extract mixtures of Baekbu, Bupyeongcho, Seokchangpo, Ginkgo biloba, green tea, chitosan mixed extract and eucalyptus oil and grapefruit seed extract oil is 0.3 to 3.0% by weight based on the total weight of the composition Is preferably. In the case of including the natural extraction mixture in this range, it appears that the degrading power, deodorizing power, bactericidal power and antibacterial activity of organic pollutants and the like are excellent. When the content of the natural extract is less than 0.3% by weight, the deodorizing and antimicrobial effects are insignificant, and when the content is more than 3.0% by weight, the effect of the increase in content is insignificant and uneconomic. The fabric softener composition according to the present invention has a feature that is harmless to the human body, environmentally friendly and safe because it uses a natural extract as a raw material to produce an antibacterial and deodorant effect.
The fabric softener composition according to the present invention further comprises a dispersion stabilizer. The dispersion stabilizer uses a known one used in the fabric softener composition. For example, the organic compounds include lower alcohols or glycols having less than 8 carbon atoms, higher alcohols having 11 or more carbon atoms, urea, and the like, and the inorganic compounds include magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium nitrate, and the like. It may be included as a mixture of the above. Preferably, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, hexylene glycol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium nitrate, etc. alone or in combination of two or more according to the present invention Used in fibrous rinse compositions.
In addition, the fiber rinse composition according to the present invention may further include a small amount of additives within the scope of the present invention. For example, fresh and subtle fragrances may be added to impart a pleasant odor to the fibers after deodorization, and antibacterial ingredients may be further added to further enhance the antibacterial effect. In addition, pigments, preservatives, antioxidants, antifoaming agents and the like may be further included.
