Abstract

A cleaning device for removing foreign matters deposited on a workpiece is provided to realize a compact structure by separating a convey system and a cleaning system from each other. A cleaning device(A) for removing foreign matters deposited on a workpiece(1) comprises a cleaning compartment(3), a jig(4), a drive unit(5), a cleaning nozzle(6) and a liquid discharge port(7). The cleaning compartment has an opening(2) through which a workpiece is put in. The jig is installed in the cleaning compartment to clamp the workpiece. The drive unit is installed at the outside of the cleaning compartment and rotates the jig using a servo motor. The cleaning nozzle is provided in the cleaning compartment. The liquid discharge port allows cleaning solution remaining in the cleaning compartment to the outside of the cleaning compartment.
