Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 핸드 오버를 용이하게 하는 방법으로서,모바일 노드가 소스 액세스 포인트로부터 타겟 액세스 포인트로 핸드오버 중인지를 상기 소스 액세스 포인트에 의해 결정하는 단계;상기 모바일 노드의 앵커 노드에게 상기 핸드오버를 통지하는 메시지를 상기 소스 액세스 포인트에 의해 작성하는 단계; 및상기 모바일 노드의 앵커 노드에게 상기 메시지를 전송하여, 상기 앵커 노드로 하여금 상기 모바일 노드의 트래픽을 상기 타겟 액세스 포인트로 라우트하도록 하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메시지를 작성하는 단계는, 공유된 비밀 키를 이용하여 메시지를 작성하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 공유된 키는 상기 모바일 노드의 어드레스를 현재 POP(point of presence)로 매핑하는 메시지를 인증하기 위해 적어도 상기 앵커 노드에 의해 사용되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모바일 노드가 핸드오버 중인지를 결정하는 상기 단계는, 상기 모바일 노드에 의해 보고된 수신 신호 강도를 분석하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메시지는 핸드오프에 앞서 상기 앵커 노드에게 전송되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메시지는 상기 모바일이 상기 소스 액세스 포인트를 떠난 후에 상기 앵커 노드로 전송되는 방법.
- 소스 액세스 포인트에서 타겟 액세스 포인트로의 핸드오버를 용이하게 하는 방법으로서,네트워크 내의 제2 노드로부터 모바일 노드에 대응하는 적어도 하나의 핸드오버 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 제2 노드는 상기 모바일 노드와 다르고, 상기 적어도 하나의 핸드오버 메시지는 앵커 노드에서 상기 모바일 노드에 대응하는 공유된 비밀 키로 생성된 인증 코드를 포함하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 모바일 노드가 상기 소스 액세스 포인트로부터 상기 타겟 액세스 포인트로 핸드오버 중임을 결정하는 단계와;상기 모바일 노드의 CoA(care of address)가 상기 타겟 액세스 포인트에서 변경한다는 것을 결정하는 단계와;상기 수신된 핸드오버 메시지들의 리스트로부터 취득된 핸드오버 메시지를 송신하는 단계 - 상기 송신된 핸드오버 메시지는 상기 모바일 노드의 앵커 노드에 대한 새로운 POP를 나타냄 - 를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 소스 액세스 포인트에서 타겟 액세스 포인트로의 핸드오버를 용이하게 하는 방법으로서,잠재적인 타겟 액세스 포인트에 관한 정보를 수신하는 단계;상기 타겟 액세스 포인트에서 CoA를 나타내는 적어도 하나의 핸드오버 메시지를 작성하는 단계 - 상기 핸드오버 메시지는 공유된 비밀 키로 생성된 인증 코드를 포함함 - ; 및상기 액세스 포인트로 적어도 하나의 핸드오버 메시지를 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 핸드오버 메시지는 상기 소스 액세스 포인트에 저장될 것이고, 상기 소스 액세스 포인트에 의해 이용되어 상기 소스 액세스 포인트에서 상기 타겟 액세스 포인트로의 핸드오버를 용이하게 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 액세스 포인트는 소스 액세스 포인트를 포함하는 방법.
