Abstract

평탄한 또는 양각된 면을 갖는 적층형 교합식 벽돌, 블럭, 및 석재의 몰딩장치 및 방법{A MOLDING EQUIPMENT AND METHOD TO MANUFACTURE STACKABLE INTER-ENGAGING BRICKS, BLOCKS, STONES AND THE LIKE WITH A SMOOTH OR EMBOSSED FACE}
본 발명은 모르타르(mortar)를 사용하지 않은 벽을 형성하기 위한 적층형 교합식(inter-engaging) 벽돌, 블럭, 석재 등에 관한 것이다. 좀 더 상세하게는, 개별의 평탄면 혹은 양각면, 또는 부착된 분리형 교합식(attached splittable inter-engaging) 벽돌, 블럭, 석재 등을 제조하는 공정에 관한 것이다. 여기서 "벽돌(bricks)"이란 용어는 블럭, 석재 등을 또한 지칭한다.
적층형 교합식 벽돌은 모르타르(mortar)를 사용하지 않는 벽을 형성하기 위하여 사용되는 것으로 종래 기술에서 알려져 있다. 적층되며, 모르타르와 같은 결합제에 의한 상호 지지없이 교합되는 벽 건축용 블럭이 알려져 있다. 이러한 블럭은 텅(tongue) 부분을 포함하는 상부면과 모티스(mortise) 부분을 포함하는 바닥면을 갖는다. 양 부분은 두 개의 블럭이 적층될 때, 블럭의 바닥면이 아래에 배치되는 블럭의 상부면과 교합되고, 블럭의 상부면은 위에 배치된 블럭의 바닥면과 교합되도록 구성된다. 이러한 블럭의 예는 미국 특허 제 6,108,995호(부차드(Bouchard)외)에서 볼 수 있다.
적층형 교합식 벽돌의 제조 공정에서, 콘트리트와 같은 벽돌 재료로 만들어지는 다수의 부착된 분리형 벽돌은 몰드의 제 1 캐스트이다. 몰딩되어진 부착된 벽돌 유닛은 상기 몰드로부터 추출되며, 제조 공장에서 철강 또는 나무판으로 이송된다. 몰딩되어진 부착된 벽돌 유닛은 이후 상기 벽돌 재료를 경화하기 위하여 가마에서 경화된다. 경화 이후, 부착된 벽돌 각각은 알려진 분리 장치에 의해 중간에서 탈착되어, 두 개의 개별적인 분리면(split face)을 갖는 벽돌이 된다. 이러한 실시예에서, 모든 몰딩된 부착된 벽돌 유닛은 두 개의 분리면 벽돌을 생산한다.
단일의 부착된 분리형 벽돌 유닛으로부터 두 개의 분리면 벽돌을 제조하는 이유는 경화 처리의 완료 이전의 경화되지 않은 단일 벽돌은 너무 무르기 때문에, 처리시에 제조 공장에서의 이송시 심각한 파손이나 변형이 생길 수 있기 때문이다. 경화되지 않은 종래 기술의 벽돌은 이송시에 손상되거나 불량으로 인한 반품을 발생할 수 있다.
따라서, 심각한 손상이나 변형 없이 적층형 벽돌이 몰딩되고, 이송되며, 개별적으로 경화되어, 평탄하거나 또는 양각된 벽돌면을 형성할 수 있는 방법이 요구된다.
본 발명의 목적은 적층형 벽돌을 제조 공정에서 손상이나 변형 없이, 몰딩하고, 이송하며, 개별적으로 경화하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은 특정한 경화 장치를 필요로 하지 않고, 단일의 몰드 공동으로 두 개의 개별적인 벽돌을 제조하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은 벽돌 몰딩 동안, 평탄면을 갖는 벽돌을 몰딩할 수 있는 몰딩 장치를 제공하는 것이다.

본 발명의 다른 목적 및 이점은 이하 설명될 실시예로 더욱 명확히 이해될 것이며, 첨부된 청구항에 의해 지시되며, 여기서 언급되지 않은 다양한 이점들이 본 발명의 실시를 통해 당업자에게 실현될 수 있다.
본 발명의 제 1 국면에 따라서, 개별적인 평탄면 또는 양각면 벽돌 또는 부착된 분리형 벽돌을 제조하는 방법이 제공된다. 각 벽돌은, 벽돌, 블럭, 석재 등이 서로의 상층에 적층될 때, 벽돌들이 교합되도록 구성된 텅 교합부와 모티스 교합부를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따른 몰딩 장치는 적어도 하나의 공동(다수가 더 바람직)을 갖는 몰드를 포함한다. 각 공동은 분리형 벽돌의 쌍을 형성하도록 한다. 벽돌 분리 소자는 두 개의 개별적인 프리 스탠딩(free standing) 벽돌을 형성하도록, 각 공동의 중간에 설치된다. 각 벽돌 분리 소자는 스크류 또는 볼트와 같은 고정 장치를 사용하여 고정된다. 벽돌 분리 소자가 일단 설치되면, 부착된 분리형 벽돌 공동은 두 개의 개별적인 몰드 공동으로 효율적으로 분리된다.
벽돌 분리 소자는 개구를 포함하는 상부 부분를 갖는다. 개구는 스크류 또는 볼트와 같은 패스너를 수용하기 위하여 제공된다. 패스너는 벽돌 분리 소자를 몰딩 장치 본체에 고정하기 위하여 사용된다. 벽돌 분리 소자는 철 또는 주철과 같은 단단하며 내구력이 있는 재료로 만들어진다.
벽돌 분리 소자는 평탄한 표면 또는 돌출을 갖는 표면을 갖는다.
몰딩 장치와 공동 분리부를 사용하여 개별적인 평탄면 및 양각면 벽돌을 제조하는 방법이 또한 제공된다.

본 발명은 이하 설명될 구조에서 예시될 부분들의 구조, 부재들의 결합, 및 배열을 포함하며, 발명의 범위는 청구항에서 지시될 것이다. 상술한 내용이 모르타리스(mortarless) 벽을 형성하기 위한 적층형 교합식 벽돌, 블럭, 석재 등의 제조를 상세히 설명하였지만, 본 발명은 랜드스케이핑(landsacping) 벽돌을 형성하기 위한 적층형 교합식 벽돌, 블럭, 석재 등을 제조하기 위한 예로서도 사용될 수 있다.

첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예가 상세히 설명될 것이며, 그러나 이러한 도면과 상세한 설명은 본 발명의 요지를 제시하려는 의도일 뿐, 그것을 국한하는 것은 아니다. 본 발명은 청구의 범위 이내에서 다양한 변형으로 보여질 수 있다. 따라서, 개별적인 적층형 교합식 벽돌(1)(도 6)은, 도 6에 도시된 바와 같이 비경화된 측면을 바닥으로 하여 세워지고, 제조 공정시 손상, 휨, 또는 변형이 없는 범위에서, 원하는 대로 그 크기와 모양이 선택될 수 있다.
단지 예로서 도 6을 참조하여, 만일 측면 영역(3) 대 벽돌 길이(2)의 비율이 26.65:1이면, 측면 형태(3)를 갖는 단일의 개별적인 적층형 교합식 벽돌(1)은 비경화된 측면을 바닥으로 하여 세워지며, 제조 공정시 손상, 휨, 또는 변형이 없게 된다. 그러나, 도 6 에 의해, 벽돌 재료, 벽돌 형태, 벽돌 측면 관성 및 벽돌 길이와 같은 벽돌의 다른 특성이 주어질 때, 그 비율은 달라질 수 있다.
도 3 및 도 4를 참조하여, 몰딩 장치 본체(10)가 도시된다. 수 개의 공동(cavity)(12)이 몰딩 장치 본체(10)에 형성된다. 공동(12)은 벽돌(여기에서는 미도시)을 생산하기 위하여 콘트리트 또는 다른 적절한 재료를 주조하는데 사용된다. 도 3은 분리형 벽돌 유닛을 생산하는 몰딩 장치를 도시한다. 그러나, 도 14에 도시된 바와 같이, 벽돌 분리 소자(11)가 부착 지점(20, 21)에서 몰드(12)(도 3 참조)에 부착될 수 있다.
부착 지점(20, 21)에 구비된 벽돌 분리 소자(11)는 개별적인 평탄면 또는 양각면 적층형 교합식 벽돌을 몰딩하기 위한 두 개의 개별적인 공동(13)을 형성한다.
도 12는 개별적인 평탄면 벽돌을 제조하는데 사용되는 벽돌 분리 소자를 도시한다. 벽돌 분리 소자의 상부 부분(30)은 벽돌 분리 소자의 양단부에, 몰딩 장치 본체(10)에 고정하기 위한 개구(31)를 갖는다(도 3 및 도 4 참조). 벽돌 분리 소자는 수 개의 벽돌 분리판(32)을 갖을 수 있다.
도 13은 개별적인 양각면 벽돌을 제조하는데 사용되는 벽돌 분리 소자를 도시한다. 벽돌 분리 소자의 상부 부분(30)은 벽돌 분리 소자의 양단부에, 몰딩 장치 본체(10)에 고정하기 위한 개구(31)를 갖는다(도 3 및 도 4 참조). 벽돌 분리 소자는 수 개의 벽돌 분리판(33)을 갖을 수 있다.
도 12 및 도 13에서, 펑탄면(32) 또는 양각면(33) 벽돌 분리판이 도시된다.
펑탄면(32) 또는 양각면(33) 벽돌 분리판은 각 측면에, 몰딩 장치 본체(10)에 각 벽돌 분리판(32, 33)을 고정하기 위한 "V" 형태의 홈(34)을 갖는다(도 3 및 도 4 참조).
평탄면 및 양각면을 갖는 적층형 교합식 벽돌을 몰딩하는 몰딩 장치 및 방법이 상세하게 설명되었지만, 이는 본 발명의 개시를 위한 예로서 제공되었을 뿐, 본 발명이 본 실시예에만 국한되는 것은 아니다. 청구된 본 발명의 범위와 요지내의 다양한 변형 또한 본 발명에 속하는 것으로 간주한다.

Claims (18)

  1. 콘트리트 또는 다른 유사한 재료로 만들어지며, 제조 동안 손상, 변형, 휨 등이 없이 자체적으로 세워질 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 적층형 교합식 벽돌, 블럭, 석재, 등.
  2. 개별적인 적층형 교합식 다수의 벽돌의 쌍을 몰딩하며, 상기 벽돌의 쌍은 상기 벽돌의 외부면 사이에 구비된 분리부에 의해 분리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 몰딩 장치.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 상기 몰드에 고정하기 위한 개구를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 몰딩 장치.
  4. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 분리부는 스크류, 볼트 등에 의하여 상기 몰드에 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 몰딩 장치.
  5. 제 2 항에 따른 벽돌 분리 소자.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 분리 소자를 상기 몰드에 고정하기 위한 패스너 개구를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 분리 소자.
  7. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 분리 소자는 실제적으로 단단하고 내구성의 재료로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 분리 소자.
  8. 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 재료는 강철,주철로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 분리판.
  9. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 재료는 평탄한 표면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 분리판.
  10. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 재료는 양각된 표면을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 분리판.
  11. 다수의 몰드를 포함하는 몰딩 장치에 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치하는 방법으로,
    상기 방법은:
    a.상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치하는 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    b.상기 몰드에 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 밀어넣는 단계;
    c. 고정 장치로 사이 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 분리 소자 설치 방법.
  12. 양각된 표면을 갖는 수 개의 벽돌 분리 소자가 몰드에 설치된 몰딩 장치를 사용하여, 개별적인 분리된 평탄면 벽돌과 부착된 분리면 벽돌을 동시에 제조하는 방법으로, 상기 방법은:
    a. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치할 상기 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    b. 상기 고정 장치를 사용하여 상기 평탄면 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계;
    c. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 갖는 상기 몰딩 장치를 상기 몰딩 기계의 상기 몰드에 설치하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 제조 방법.
  13. 평탄한 표면을 갖는 수 개의 벽돌 분리 소자가 몰드에 설치된 몰딩 장치를 사용하는, 개별적인 분리된 평탄면 벽돌과 부착된 분리면 벽돌을 동시에 제조하는 방법으로, 상기 방법은:
    a. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치할 상기 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    b. 상기 고정 장치를 사용하여 상기 평탄면 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계;
    c. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 갖는 상기 몰딩 장치를 상기 몰딩 기계의 상기 몰 드에 설치하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 제조 방법.
  14. 수 개의 벽돌 분리 소자가 몰드에 설치된 몰딩 장치를 사용하며, 수 개의 상기 벽돌 분리 소자는 평탄한 표면을 갖고, 나머지의 상기 벽돌 분리 소자는 양각면을 가지며, 개별적인 분리된 평탄면 벽돌, 양각면 벽돌, 및 부착된 분리면 벽돌을 동시에 제조하는 방법으로, 상기 방법은:
    a. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치할 상기 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    b. 상기 양각면 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치할 상기 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    c.상기 고정 장치를 사용하여 상기 평탄면 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계;
    d. 상기 고정 장치를 사용하여 상기 양각면 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계;
    e. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 갖는 상기 몰딩 장치를 상기 몰딩 기계의 상기 몰드에 설치하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽돌 제조 방법.
  15. 벽돌 분리 소자가 몰드에 설치된 몰딩 장치를 사용하며, 수 개의 상기 벽돌 분리 소자는 평탄한 표면을 갖고, 나머지의 상기 벽돌 분리소자는 양각면을 가지며, 개별적인 분리된 평탄면 벽돌과 양각면 벽돌을 동시에 제조하는 방법으로, 상기 방법은:
    a. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치할 상기 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    b. 상기 양각면 벽돌 분리 소자를 설치할 상기 몰드를 선택하는 단계;
    c.상기 고정 장치를 사용하여 상기 평탄면 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계;
    d. 상기 고정 장치를 사용하여 상기 양각면 벽돌 분리 소자를 고정하는 단계;
    e. 상기 벽돌 분리 소자를 갖는 상기 몰딩 장치를 상기 몰딩 기계의 상기 몰드에 설치하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
  16. 제 12 항에 있어서,
    단계 a)에서, 모든 몰드가 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  17. 제 13 항에 있어서,
    단계 a)에서, 모든 몰드가 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
