Abstract

A dryer for drying agricultural and fishery products designed to load agricultural and fishery products such as various grains or fish and the like in a storage shape and dry them with a hot wind from a heater is provided. The dryer can uniformly and quickly dry the agricultural and fishery products without being affected by a natural phenomenon by supplying evenly hot wind to a drying room from the side wall of a body. A dryer for agricultural and fishery products comprises a body(1) with a ventilation space(10) between an outer wall and inner wall made of insulation material and a door(2) with a see through window(20). The dryer also contains: a drying room inside the inner wall to load the agricultural and fishery products on a receiving rack(31) with a wire mesh(310) and place them on several receiving brackets(32); a hot wind supply apparatus with several heating pipes and an air blower; a heater chamber with an exhaust duct to discharge part of air inside the drying room to the outside and to circulate the part of the air to the hot wind supply apparatus; and an apparatus(6) for controlling the inflow of air. In the dryer, hot wind generated from the heater chamber is introduced into the drying chamber through an inlet hole(10a) along the ventilation space of the body, thereby to dry the agricultural and fishery products loaded on a receiving rack with introduced hot wind.
