Claims (15)
- (a) 수소화처리 조건하에 개량 반응기중에서 중질 공급원료(heavy feed), 수소 기체, 신선한 촉매 슬러리 조성물 및 재순환 슬러리 조성물을 결합시키는 단계;(b) 상기 개량 반응기의 유출물을 분리 구역으로 통과시키는 단계, 이때 900℉ 미만에서 비등하는 생성물은 위쪽으로 통과시키며;(c) 상기 (b)단계로부터 이동되어 분리 구역에 남아있는 물질을 일정 교반 촉매 저장 탱크로 통과시키는 단계; 및(d) 일정 교반 촉매 저장 탱크에 존재하는 적어도 일부의 물질을 다시 상기 (a)단계의 개량 반응기로 통과시키는 단계를 포함하는, 가라않지 않는 슬러리 촉매 조성물을 이용한 중유의 개량 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중질 공급물은 대기 기체 오일, 진공 기체 오일, 탈아스팔트 오일, 올레핀, 사암(tar sand) 또는 역청(bitumen) 유래 오일, 석탄 유래 오일, 중질 원유(heavy crude oil), 피셔-트롭쉬(Fischer-Tropsch) 공정으로 제조한 합성오일, 재순환 폐기 오일 및 중합체 유래 오일로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 개량 방법은 열수소분해(thermal hydrocracking), 수소처리(hydrotreating), 수소탈황화(hydrodesulphurization), 수소탈질 화(hydrodenitrification) 및 수소탈금속화(hydrodemetalization)로 이루어진 군 에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분리 구역은 고온 고압 분리장치인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 50 중량% 이상의 상기 생성물이 180℉ 내지 650℉의 온도범위에서 비등하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 개량 반응기는 일정 교반 탱크 반응기 또는 유동층(ebullating bed)인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 재순환 슬러리 촉매는 개량 반응기에서 사용되는 95 중량% 이상의 촉매로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
