Description
Claims (9)
- 통신 기업의 통신 서비스를 보호하는 방법에 있어서,상기 통신 기업 내의 하나 이상의 내선(extension)에 대한 호출 형태의 인지된 내선 공격을 검출하는 단계―상기 검출은 상기 호출의 적어도 하나의 속성 분석을 포함함―와,상기 적어도 하나의 속성 분석에 근거하여, 상기 호출과 관련된 위험을 분류하는 단계와,상기 호출과 관련된 상기 위험에 따라, 상기 인지된 공격을 억제하도록 교정 동작(remedial action)을 취하는 단계를 포함하는통신 서비스 보호 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 호출을 기록(recording)하는 단계와,상기 통신 기업의 관리자에게, 상기 호출과 관련된 위험 및 타입을 경고하여, 상기 관리자가 상기 취해진 교정 동작에 영향을 미치도록 하는 단계를 더 포함하는통신 서비스 보호 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 검출 단계는, (i) 알고리즘을 생성하고, (ii) 상기 알고리즘을 상기 호출의 제 1 매체 스트림에 적용하고, (iii) 상기 제 1 매체 스트림 내용을 반영하는 제 1 매체 해쉬 값(media hash value)을 생성하고, (iv) 상기 알고리즘을 상기 통신 기업에 대한 후속하는 호출의 제 2 매체 스트림에 적용하고, (v) 상기 제 2 매체 스트림을 반영하는 제 2 매체 해쉬 값을 생성하고, (vi) 상기 제 1 및 제 2 해쉬 값들을 비교하고, (vii) 상기 제 1 및 제 2 해쉬 값들이 사전지정된 범위 내에 속하는 경우, 상기 교정 동작을 취하는 것을 포함하는통신 서비스 보호 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 검출 단계는, (i) 호출 소스로부터 상기 기업으로 송신된 호출 시퀀스를 분석하여, 상기 호출 시퀀스가 사전결정된 반대할만한 호출 시퀀스와 매칭되는 경우, 상기 교정 동작을 취하고, (ii) 상기 기업에서의 미관리 번호로 송신된 호출을 검출하여, 상기 미관리 번호에 대한 호출의 수가 반대할만한 사전결정된 값에 도달하는 경우, 상기 교정 동작을 취하고, (iii) 상기 기업에서의 미관리 번호로 송신된 호출을 검출하여, 상기 미관리 번호에 대한 호출의 수가 반대할만한 사전결정된 값에 도달하는 경우, 상기 교정 동작을 취하고, (iv) 호출 소스를 분석하여, 상기 호출 소스가 팩스, 음성 또는 모뎀인지의 여부를 결정하고, (v) 호출이 상기 기업내의 내선으로부터 행해지는지의 여부를 결정하고, (vi) 호출 소스로부터의 복수의 호출이 단일 또는 다수의 지속기간을 갖는지의 여부를 검출하고, (vii) 호출 소스로부터 수신된 호출의 수를 검출하여, 상기 수신된 호출의 수가 반대할만한 수의 호출을 포함하는지의 여부를 결정하고, (viii) 속여진 호출의 소스 ID 속성과 실제 호출 소스 ID를 비교함으로써 속여진 호출 소스를 검출―룩업(look-up) 또는 역 룩업을 수행하여, 상기 실제 호출 소스를 결정함―하는 것 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는통신 서비스 보호 방법.
- 통신 시스템에 있어서,통신 네트워크에 접속된 통신 서버―상기 통신 서버는 적어도 하나의 공격 소스로부터 상기 네트워크를 통해 통신을 수신함―와,어드레스를 가지며, 상기 통신 서버를 통해 상기 네트워크로부터 통신을 수신하는 제 1 통신 장치와,상기 통신 서버와 관련된 내선 공격 방지 애플리케이션(extension attack prevention application)―상기 애플리케이션은 호출의 호출 속성을 분석하고, 상기 호출과 관련된 위험을 할당하고, 상기 할당된 위험이 사전결정된 교정 동작에 대한 기준을 만족시키는 경우, 인지된 공격을 억제하기 위한 교정 동작을 제안함― 을 포함하는통신 시스템.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 내선 공격 방지 애플리케이션은, (i) 속여진 호출의 소스와 실제 호출 소스를 비교함으로써 속여진 호출 소스를 검출하는 수단―룩업 또는 역 룩업을 수행하여, 상기 실제 호출 소스를 결정함―과, (ii) 내선 공격에 대해 분석된 상기 호출의 속성에 적용된 적어도 하나의 규칙―상기 속성은 호출 지속기간, 호출 방향, 호출 타입, 시간, 호출 목적지, 속여진 호출 소스, 매체 해쉬 값 및 상기 호출의 호출 소스로부터 수신된 호출의 수 중 적어도 하나를 포함하며, 상기 규칙은 상기 교정 동작을 취할지의 여부를 결정하는 것과 관련됨―과, (iii) 상기 호출과 관련된 전체 위험을 평가하는 수단―상기 평가 수단은 상기 호출의 복수의 속성의 분석을 포함하고, 상기 속성은 매체 해쉬 값, 호출 지속기간, 호출 방향, 호출 타입, 시간, 호출 목적지, 속여진 호출 소스 및 상기 호출의 호출 소스로부터 수신된 호출의 수 중 적어도 하나를 포함함―과, (iv) 상기 통신 시스템의 관리자에게, 상기 인지된 공격 및 상기 공격과 관련된 할당된 위험을 통지하여, 상기 관리자가 취해진 상기 교정 동작을 조정할 수 있도록 하는 수단과, (v) 상기 통신 서버 내에 통합된 실행가능 프로그래밍 인스트럭션―적어도 하나의 데이터베이스가 상기 프로그래밍 인스트럭션과 관련되고, 상기 프로그래밍 인스트럭션은 시간에 걸쳐 수정되 어, 적어도 부분적으로 이전에 발생된 내선 공격의 이력 분석(historical analysis)에 근거하여, 공격과 관련된 위험의 할당을 변경함― 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는통신 시스템.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 평가 수단은 상기 호출 속성들 중 적어도 하나에 적용된 계산을 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 분석된 호출 속성과 관련된 위험을 할당하는통신 시스템.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 통지 수단은 상기 통신 서버에 통합된 대화형 음성 응답 애플리케이션(interactive voice response application)을 포함하고, 상기 관리자에게는, 교정 동작 옵션을 선택하여 적절한 교정 동작을 발생시에, 다수의 옵션이 제공되는통신 시스템.
- 통신 기업의 통신 자원을 보호하는 장치에 있어서,프로세서와,상기 프로세서에 의해 실행된 프로그래밍 인스트럭션―상기 프로그래밍 인스트럭션은 내선 공격 방지 애플리케이션을 포함하고, 상기 애플리케이션은 의심스러운 호출의 속성을 검출하고, 상기 속성을 로깅(logging)하고, 상기 의심스러운 호출과 관련된 위험을 할당하고, 취해질 교정 동작에 대한 권유를 제공하여, 인지된 공격을 억제함―과,데이터 및 상기 프로그래밍 인스트럭션의 저장을 위한, 상기 프로그래밍 인스트럭션의 실행과 관련된 메모리 수단과,상기 프로그래밍 인스트럭션을 조작하는 적어도 하나의 입력 장치―상기 적어도 하나의 입력 장치는 인지된 공격에 응답하여 상기 장치로부터 발생된 출력과 인터페이싱함―를 포함하되,상기 속성은 매체 해쉬 값, 호출 지속기간, 호출 방향, 호출 타입, 시간, 호출 목적지, 속여진 호출 소스 및 호출 볼륨 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는통신 자원 보호 장치.
