Description
通信のセキュリティは、ほとんどの企業および政府機関にとってますます高まる懸念である。IP電話の出現およびインターネットの他の使用によって、組織は現在複数の通信手段を有するが、しかし、この増大した通信能力によって、組織の通信システムへのアクセスを得たいと望むハッカーに対する企業の脆弱さもがもたらされてきた。ほとんどの電話内線攻撃は、たとえば様々な物およびサービスを宣伝するための未承諾メッセージ(unsolicited message)を組織に提供する目的で行われる。しかし、多くの内線攻撃は、明らかに違法の目的、たとえば機密の組織情報へのアクセスを得るために開始され得る。
本明細書の好ましい一実施形態によれば、本発明の方法およびシステムは、呼が電話内線攻撃であり得るかを判断するために呼の複数の属性を分析する。呼の属性が分析されると、呼が攻撃である可能性が高いかどうかに関して、リスクが各属性に関連付けられる。分析され得る呼の属性は、呼のソース、トランクID、発呼者IDまたはIPアドレス(VoIP呼の場合)、呼の宛先、一方向(ソース)メディア・ストリーム・ランダム性、呼の継続時間、呼の時間、呼のタイプ、呼の方向を含む。さらに、特定のソースから受信される呼の数(呼の量)もまた、呼の属性と定義されることができ、潜在的な攻撃を判断する際の評価に重要な要因である。リスクの査定によって、知覚された攻撃の発見がもたらされるならば、着呼を監視している通信サーバまたはスタンドアロン・サーバは、選択的に呼属性をログし、メディア・ストリームを含むように疑わしいイベントを記録し、知覚された攻撃について管理者に警告する。

Claims (7)
- 通信サーバに関連する、プロセッサ、メモリ、入出力装置及び内線攻撃防止アプリケーションを含む通信システムによって通信企業体の通信サービスを保護する方法であって、
前記通信企業体の通信システム内の1つまたは複数の内線に向けられる呼の形の内線攻撃を検出する工程であって、前記呼の少なくとも1つの属性を分析することを含む工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの属性の分析に基づいて前記呼に関連するリスクを分類する工程と、
前記呼に関連するリスクに従って、前記攻撃を防止するための対応策を取る工程とを備え、
前記検出が、(i)着信メディア・ストリームに関連する所与のアルゴリズムを前記呼の第1のメディア・ストリームに適用すること、(ii)前記第1メディア・ストリームの内容を表す第1のメディア・ハッシュ値を生成すること、(iii)前記アルゴリズムを前記通信企業体の通信システムに向けられる後続の呼の第2のメディア・ストリームに適用すること、(iv)前記第2メディア・ストリームを表す第2のメディア・ハッシュ値を生成すること、および(v)前記第1と第2のメディア・ハッシュ値を比較することを備え、
前記第1および第2のメディア・ハッシュ値が事前指定された範囲内に含まれる場合には、前記呼に関連するリスクに基づいた対応策を取る方法。 - 前記呼を記録する工程と、
前記通信企業体の管理者が前記取られる対応策に影響を及ぼすように、前記管理者に前記呼に関連するタイプおよびリスクについて警告する工程とをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記検出が、スプーフィングされた呼のソースのID属性と、実際の呼のソースのIDとを比較することで、前記スプーフィングされた呼のソースを検出する工程を含み、
正引きまたは逆引きが前記実際の呼のソースを判断するために実施される請求項1に記載の方法。 - 通信ネットワークに相互接続されており、前記ネットワークを介して少なくとも1つの攻撃源から通信を受信する通信サーバと、
アドレスを含んでおり、前記通信サーバを介して前記ネットワークから通信を送受信する送受信装置と、
前記通信サーバに関連する内線攻撃防止アプリケーションであって、呼の呼属性を分析し、前記呼に関連するリスクを割り当て、前記割り当てられたリスクが所定の対応策の基準を満たす場合に、攻撃を阻止するための対応策を通信システムに提案するアプリケーションとを備え、
前記内線攻撃防止アプリケーションが、第1のメディア・ハッシュ値を生成するために、前記呼の第1のメディア・ストリームに適用されるアルゴリズムと、第2のメディア・ハッシュ値を生成するために、後続の呼の第2のメディア・ストリームに前記アルゴリズムを適用する手段と、前記第1および第2のメディア・ハッシュ値を比較して、前記第1および第2のメディア・ハッシュ値が事前指定された範囲内に含まれる場合には、前記呼に関連するリスクに基づいた対応策を取る手段を含む通信システム。 - 前記査定手段が、前記呼属性のうちの少なくとも1つの特性を測定又は評価する手段、分析される少なくとも1つの呼属性に関連するリスクを割当てる手段とを含む請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記通知する手段が、前記通信サーバ内に組み込まれた対話型音声応答アプリケーションを含み、前記管理者に、対応策オプションを選択することによって適切な対応策の生成における複数のオプションが提供される請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 通信企業体の通信リソースを保護するための機器であって、
プロセッサと、
内線攻撃防止アプリケーションを含む、前記プロセッサによって実行されるプログラミング命令であって、前記アプリケーションが疑わしい呼の属性を検出し、前記属性をログし、前記疑わしい呼に関連するリスクを割り当て、攻撃を阻止するために取られるべき対応策についての勧告を、前記通信リソースに提供するプログラミング命令と、
前記プログラミング命令の実行に関連付けられており、データおよび前記プログラミング命令を格納するためのメモリ手段と、
前記プログラミング命令を実行し、前記攻撃に応答して装置から生成される出力とインターフェースを取るための少なくとも1つの入力装置とを備え、
前記属性は、メディア・ハッシュ値およびスプーフィングされた呼のソースを含む機器。
