Claims (4)
- 입력영상신호의 밝기(contrast)정보를 프레임 단위로 분석하는 영상신호 분석부와;상기 입력 영상을 디스플레이하는 액정표시부와;상기 액정표시부를 구동시키는 수직 및 수평공급 회로부와;상기 액정표시부에 광원을 공급하는 복수개의 발광 다이오드로 구성된 백라이트부와;상기 수직 및 수평공급 회로부와 백라이트부에 전원을 공급하는 전원조절 및 공급부와;상기 액정표시부의 화소수에 따른 상기 백라이트부의 복수개의 백라이트수별(화소수/백라이트수) 평균밝기 조절값을 계산하여 상기 프레임 단위로 분석한 영상신호 밝기 정보에 따른 백라이트수별 평균 밝기 조절값에 해당하는 제어신호를 상기 전원조절 및 공급부로 출력하는 제어부를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 모듈의 전원제어 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 백라이트부는 상기 액정표시부의 화소와 같거나 적은 수의 발광 다이오드로 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 모듈의 전원제어 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 백라이트부는 상기 화소의 후면 또는 상기 화소 사이 또는 상기 화소의 대각선 방향의 중첩 부분에 하나 건너씩 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 모듈의 전원제어 장치.
- 영상신호가 입력되면 상기 입력된 영상신호의 영상정보를 프레임 단위로 분석하는 단계와;상기 분석된 영상정보에 따라 액정표시부의 화소수/백라이트 수의 영상단위에 따른 백라이트별 평균밝기 조절값을 계산 및 결정하는 단계와;상기 결정된 백라이트별 밝기 조절에 따른 백라이트별 제어신호를 출력하는 단계와;상기 액정표시부의 백라이트별 제어신호에 따라 상기 백라이트별 서로 다른 구동전압을 출력하는 단계와;상기 백라이트별 서로 다른 밝기의 광원을 상기 액정표시부로 출력함을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 모듈의 전원제어 방법.
