Description
Claims (14)
- 인증 서버와 상기 인증 서버에 연결된 복수의 접속점들로 이루어진 무선망에서의 로밍 서비스 지원 방법에 있어서,상기 이동 단말기가 상기 복수의 접속점들 중 하나의 접속점으로의 결합을 시도할 시, 미리 알고 있는 마스터 키로부터 상기 이동 단말기와 상기 결합이 시도된 접속점 간에 공유되는 제1 레벨 보안 키를 파생하는 과정;상기 파생된 제1 레벨 보안 키로부터 상기 이동 단말기와 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점 간에 공유되는 제2 레벨 보안 키를 파생하는 과정; 및상기 파생된 제2 레벨 보안 키를 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점으로 제공하는 과정을 포함하며,상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점은, 상기 결합이 시도된 접속점에 인접한 접속점이며, 상기 이동 단말기가 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점으로 로밍을 시도할 시, 상기 로밍이 시도된 인접 접속점은 상기 제2레벨 보안 키에 의해 상기 이동 단말기에 대한 사전 인증을 수행하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1레벨 보안 키와 상기 제2레벨 보안 키는 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)임을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 결합이 시도된 접속점은, 상기 제1레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)로부터 쌍방향 임시 키 (Pairwise Transient Key)를 파생하는 과정을 더 구비함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 로밍이 시도된 인접 접속점은, 상기 제2레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)로부터 쌍방향 임시 키 (Pairwise Transient Key)를 파생함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)로부터 상기 제2레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)를 파생하기 위해 상기 이동 단말기의 맥 어드레스를 추가로 고려함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점은, 상기 이동 단말기가 다른 접속점을 경유하지 않고 이동이 가능한 접속점임을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 이동 단말기와의 결합은, 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점으로부터의 로밍에 의한 결합을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 인증 서버와 상기 인증 서버에 연결된 복수의 접속점들로 이루어진 무선망에서 상기 복수의 접속점들 중 하나의 접속점에서의 로밍 서비스 지원 방법에 있어서,상기 이동 단말기가 상기 복수의 접속점들 중 하나의 접속점으로의 결합을 시도할 시, 미리 알고 있는 마스터 키로부터 파생된 제1 레벨 보안 키를 서버로부터 수신하는 과정;상기 제1 레벨 보안 키로부터 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점에 대응한 제 2 레벨 보안 키를 파생하는 과정; 및상기 제2 레벨 보안 키를 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점으로 전송하는 과정을 포함하며,상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점은, 상기 결합이 시도된 접속점에 인접한 접속점이며, 상기 이동 단말기가 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점으로 로밍을 시도할 시, 상기 로밍이 시도된 인접 접속점은 상기 제2 레벨 보안 키에 의해 상기 이동 단말기에 대한 사전 인증을 수행하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제1 레벨 보안 키와 상기 제2 레벨 보안 키는 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)임을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 결합이 시도된 접속점은, 상기 제1 레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)로부터 쌍방향 임시 키 (Pairwise Transient Key)를 파생함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 로밍이 시도된 인접 접속점은, 상기 제2 레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)로부터 쌍방향 임시 키 (Pairwise Transient Key)를 파생함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 제1 레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)로부터 상기 제2 레벨 쌍방향 마스터 키 (Pairwise Master Key)를 파생하기 위해 상기 이동 단말기의 맥 어드레스를 추가로 고려함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점은, 상기 이동 단말기가 다른 접속점을 경유하지 않고 이동이 가능한 접속점임을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 이동 단말기와의 결합은, 상기 적어도 하나의 인접 접속점으로부터의 로밍에 의한 결합을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 로밍 서비스 지원 방법.
