The present invention relates to a component recognition device for a component mounter, and more particularly, to recognize the mounting state of the electronic component mounted on the nozzle unit during mounting the electronic component on the external substrate, the component recognition unit for detecting the defect or not. Relates to a device.
A component mounter is a device for mounting a component such as a semiconductor package on a printed circuit board (PCB). Recently, electronic components and printed circuit boards have been densified and highly functionalized according to the trend toward miniaturization and light weight of electronic products. As a result, the output pins of the electronic components increase, and the spacing between the output pins becomes narrower.
Therefore, before mounting the electronic component, it is required that the electronic component is sucked in the nozzle in the correct state, rotated at the correct angle, and mounted correctly on the printed circuit board. In order to accurately mount the electronic component at a predetermined position, it is necessary to accurately check the suction state and the center position of the component before the component supplied from the component supply unit is mounted on the printed circuit board. For this purpose, a component recognition device is used.

The
In particular, the illumination light passing holes 135 formed on the illumination
The
Between the
The
The head portion of the component mounter is capable of three-dimensional movement so as to absorb electronic components stored in a component tray (not shown) or a carrier tape feeder (not shown), and mount the components that are adsorbed to a required position of a printed circuit board. In addition, each nozzle installed in the head portion is installed so as to be movable in the vertical direction, respectively, so as to independently perform the adsorption work and mounting work of the parts.
When performing the component mounting operation using the component recognition device for the component mounter having such a configuration, when the electronic components are sucked from the nozzle, light of a predetermined color is illuminated on the image of the electronic component in a preset manner for each electronic component. . In addition, the light emitted from the image does not interfere with each other between the images of the electronic components attached to the adjacent nozzles, so that the adsorption state of the components can be accurately recognized. In particular, it is possible to greatly reduce the possibility of an error in the process of reading the image recognized from the camera because the illumination method and the color of the illumination light set differently depending on the component is confused by the interference.
According to the present invention having the structure as described above, it is possible to determine whether the adsorption state is abnormal immediately after the adsorption of the component, and the interference phenomenon of the illumination light can be avoided between the illuminations of the electronic components adsorbed by the adjacent nozzles. As a result, the adsorption state of the electronic component can be accurately recognized, thereby increasing the efficiency of mounting the component mounter.
