Claims (8)
- 액정표시패널과, 상기 액정표시패널 후면에서 상기 액정표시패널에 광을 조명하는 백라이트로 구성되는 액정표시장치에 있어서,탑 이미션 방식의 유기 EL 소자를 사용하여 상기 백라이트를 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 탑 이미션 방식의 유기 EL 소자가 형성된 기판 상면과 상기 액정표시패널의 후면을 서로 마주보게 접착시키는 접착층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 탑 이미션 방식의 유기 EL 소자를 덮는 보호층을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 유기 EL 소자의 발광 영역을 가운데 두고 그 테두리에 도포되어 상기 액정표시패널과 유기 EL 소자의 어노드 전극간을 합착시키어 유기 EL 소자의 발광영역을 봉지하는 봉지재를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 유기 EL 소자의 캐소드 전극은 광투과성을 갖는 전도성 물질을 재료로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 캐소드 전극은 1~1000Å 이하의 두께를 갖는 Al 또는 Mg-Ag와, ITO 또는 무기물의 적층막을 재료로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 접착층은 UV-큐어링(curing) 유기물, 히트 큐어링(heat curing) 유기물 또는 이들의 혼합형 유기물 중 어느 하나를 재료로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 보호층은 유기물 또는 무기물을 재료로 하는 막이거나 유기물과 무기물을 이용하여 구성한 적층막 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
