Claims (11)
- 크랭크샤프트, 부속물, 모터/제너레이터 및 벨트 구동 시스템을 구비하는 내연 기관으로, 상기 벨트 구동 시스템은 크랭크샤프트 풀리, 보조 풀리, 모터/제너레이터 풀리, 벨트 텐셔너, 벨트 텐셔너 풀리, 그리고 상기 크랭크샤프트 풀리, 상기 보조 풀리, 상기 모터/제너레이터 풀리 및 상기 벨트 텐셔너 풀리 주위에 감기는 동력 전달 벨트를 포함하며, 상기 벨트 텐셔너 풀리가 시동-이완-측 스팬에서 상기 벨트와 접촉하도록 되어 있는 내연 기관에 있어서,상기 텐셔너는 상기 동력 전달 벨트를 장력 하에 놓이게 하기 쉬운 방향으로 비대칭적으로 편향되는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 비대칭 편향은, 상기 텐셔너와 상기 텐셔너 풀리에 작용하는 외부의 힘이 스프링 레이트 편향을 극복하기에 필요한 힘보다 작아서 상기 텐셔너 풀리를 벨트 장력이 증가하는 방향으로 이동시키는 경향이 있을 때, 스프링 레이트 편향에 의해 제공되는 레벨 이하인 레벨에서의 편향과, 상기 텐셔너와 상기 텐셔너 풀리에 작용하는 외부의 힘이 스프링 레이트 편향을 극복하기에 필요한 힘보다 커서 상기 텐셔너 풀리를 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 이동시키는 경향이 있을 때, 스프링 레이트 편향과 방향 역전 저항에 기인하는 편향인 것인 내연 기관.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 방향 역전 저항은 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 상기 텐셔너의 움직임에 반응하는 감쇠 지수로부터 생기는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 방향 역전 저항은 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 상기 텐셔너의 움직임에 반응하는 록킹 지수에 기인하는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 방향 역전 저항은 상기 모터/제너레이터 풀리와 기계적인 연통 관계에 있는 모터/제너레이터의 작동 모드에 반응하여 간헐적으로 적용되는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 간헐적인 방향 역전 저항의 적용은, 상기 모터/제너레이터가 모터 모드에서 작동할 때 상기 텐셔너가 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 제1의 감쇠 레벨에서 감쇠되는 것과, 상기 모터/제너레이터가 발전 모드에서 작동할 때 상기 텐셔너가 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 제2의 감쇠 레벨에서 감쇠되는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 간헐적인 방향 역전 저항의 적용은, 상기 모터/제너레이터가 모터 모드에서 작동할 때 상기 텐셔너가 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 움직이지 못하도록 록킹되는 것과, 상기 모터/제너레이터가 발전 모드에서 작동할 때 상기 텐셔너가 벨트 장력이 감소하는 방향으로 움직이지 못하도록 록킹되지 않는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 간헐적인 방향 역전 저항의 적용은 상기 모터/제너레이터 작동 모드로부터 생긴 제어 입력에 반응하는 것인 내연 기관.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제어 입력은 전기 임펄스인 것인 내연 기관.
- 크랭크샤프트 풀리, 보조 풀리, 모터/제너레이터 풀리, 벨트 텐셔너, 벨트 텐셔너 풀리, 그리고 상기 크랭크샤프트 풀리, 상기 보조 풀리, 상기 모터/제너레이터 풀리 및 상기 벨트 텐셔너 풀리 주위에 감기는 동력 전달 벨트를 포함하며, 상기 벨트 텐셔너 풀리가 시동-이완-측 스팬에서 상기 벨트와 접촉하도록 되어 있는 벨트 구동 시스템에 있어서,상기 텐셔너는 상기 동력 전달 벨트를 장력 하에 놓이게 하기 쉬운 방향으로 비대칭적으로 편향되는 것인 벨트 구동 시스템.
- 크랭크샤프트 풀리, 보조 풀리, 모터/제너레이터 풀리, 벨트 텐셔너, 벨트 텐셔너 풀리, 그리고 상기 크랭크샤프트 풀리, 상기 보조 풀리, 상기 모터/제너레이터 풀리 주위에 감기는 동력 전달 벨트를 구비하는 벨트 구동 시스템을 긴장시키는 방법에 있어서,상기 텐셔너 풀리가 벨트 긴장 방향으로 이동하는 중일 때, 제1의 편향 레벨에서 시동-이완-측 스팬 상으로 상기 벨트 텐셔너 풀리를 편향시키는 단계와,상기 텐셔너 풀리가 벨트 이완 방향으로 이동하는 중일 때, 제2의 편향 레벨에서 시동-이완-측 스팬 상으로 상기 벨트 텐셔너 풀리를 편향시키는 단계를 포함하는 것인 방법.
