Abstract

An apparatus for making rolled laver by drying dehydrated raw laver on a drying roller and rolling the dried laver into a scroll is provided. It allows for production of rolled laver with various length or sizes, according to the user's desire. The apparatus for making rolled laver consists of: a hopper(2) for feeding a predetermined amount of raw laver to a chain conveyor(4); a water collecting tank(13) disposed under the chain conveyor to collect and discharge water; a raw laver drying roller(7) for drying dehydrated raw laver with steam; a steam discharge duct(12) for discharging steam generated during drying the raw laver; a winding roller(15) for rolling the dried laver which is cut to a desired width with a knife(9) into a scroll; and a rotary brush(14) for cleaning the surface of the drying roller.
