CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire is composed of a tread unit(1), a side wall unit(2), a bead unit(3) placed and installed on a rim, and a rim protector(4) formed on the outside of the bead unit. The rim protector is made from at least two kinds of rubber compositions. The hardness of rubber forming an inner portion(41) of the rim protector is made from rubber composition lower than the rubber hardness of the side wall unit. The hardness of rubber forming an outer portion(42) of the rim protector is made from rubber composition higher than the rubber hardness of a rim cushion(35).
