Claims (12)
- 메모리 효과를 가지며 패널의 전면 쪽으로 광을 방출할 수 있는 전자발광 셀(E1, E2) 매트릭스로부터 형성된 이미지 디스플레이 패널로서,- 전자발광 유기 층(13)과;- 상기 층의 전면에 있는 투명 전면 전극 층(12)과;- 상기 층의 후면에 있고, 상기 메모리 효과를 얻기 위한 광전도 층(15)을 포함하며, 상기 광전도 층 그 자체는 불투명 후면 전극 층(16)과 상기 전자발광 층(13)과 접촉하는 중간 전극(6)의 중간 투명 또는 반-투명 층(14) 사이에 삽입되는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널에 있어서,각 셀(E1, E2)에 중간 전극(6)이 제공되고, 여러 셀의 상기 중간 전극은 서로 전기적으로 절연되는,것을 특징으로 하는 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 패널의 각 셀(En,p)은 상기 전면 또는 후면 층을 위한 어드레스 및 지속 전극(Yn)과 다른 하나의 후면 또는 전면 층을 위한 데이터 전극(Xp)으로 지칭되는 전극 사이에 전력이 공급되며, 상기 패널은:- 각 어드레스 및 지속 전극(Yn)에 연속해서, 어드레스 단계 동안에 기록 개시 신호(Va)로 지칭되는 신호를 인가하고, 상기와 같은 시간 동안에, 지속 신호(Vs)로 지칭되는 신호를 다른 한 어드레스 및 지속 전극에 인가하는데 적합하며;- 상기 어드레스 및 지속 전극(Yn)에 기록 신호(Va)를 인가하는 동안에, 상기 어드레스 및 지속 전극(Yn)을 통해 전력이 공급된 셀의 후속하는 지속 단계 동안 해당 상기 데이터 전극과 상기 어드레스 및 지속 전극의 교차부에 위치한 셀을 각각 활성시키고자 하는지 또는 활성시키지 않고자 하는지의 여부에 따라서 Voff또는 Von중 어느 하나의 값의 데이터 신호를 데이터 전극(X1,...,Xp)에 동시에 인가하는데 적합한 전력 공급 및 구동 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 만약 VT가 패널의 셀의 단자에서의 전압{상기 전압 이상에서, 비-활성화된 상태("OFF")의 셀이 활성화된 상태("ON")로 스위칭되는 전압}이라면, 및 만약 VD가 셀에 대응하는 상기 전자발광 층의 그 부분에서의 방출을 트리거하기 위한 전압이라면, 상기 전력 공급 및 구동 수단은:- Va-Von≥VT및 Va-Voff<VT- Vs-Von<VT및 Vs-Voff>VD이 되도록 설계되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 전력 공급 및 구동 수단은, 어드레스 및 지속 전극(Yn)을 어드레스하는 각 단계 동안에 보상 신호(VC)로 지칭되는 신호를 여러 데이터 전극(X1,...,Xp,...)으로 동시에 인가하는데 적합하며, 여기서, 상기 데이터 전극이 상기 어드레스 단계 동안에 데이터 신호(Von)를 수신하는 경우에 VC=Voff이며, 상기 데이터 전극이 상기 어드레스 단계 동안에 데이터 신호(Voff)를 수신하는 경우에 VC=Von이며, 상기 보상 신호(VC)의 인가 지속기간은 대략 상기 데이터 신호(Von또는 Voff)의 인가 지속 기간과 같은 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 전자발광 층(13)과 상기 광전도 층(15) 사이에 놓인 불투명 층을 포함하며, 상기 광전도 층(15)은 그 자체에 상기 패널의 각 셀(E1, E2) 내에서 상기 불투명 층을 관통하는 적어도 하나의 광 결합 애퍼쳐(1, 21) 그룹(2)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 애퍼쳐(1, 21)의 각 그룹(2)은 셀(E1, E2)의 중심에서 대략 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 5항 또는 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 불투명 층은 상기 중간 전극 층(14)의 일부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 5항 내지 제 7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 다양한 컬러의 광을 방출할 수 있는 전자발광 셀(E1, E'2)의 적어도 두 그룹을 포함하며, 애퍼처 그룹(2, 2')의 애퍼쳐(21, 21')의 애퍼쳐 밀도 및/또는 면적의 합이 다양한 컬러의 상기 셀(E1, E'2) 그룹에 따라 다른 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 5항 내지 제 8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 광 결합 애퍼쳐의 각 그룹(2)의 각 애퍼쳐(21)에 면하여, 상기 전자발광 층(13)의 전면에 위치한 불투명 마스킹 요소(9)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 중간 전극 층은 반-투명이며, 상기 메모리 효과를 얻기 위해 상기 전자발광 층(13)과 상기 광전도 층(15) 사이에 필요한 광 결합에 적응되는 광 밀도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 다양한 컬러의 광을 방출할 수 있는 전자발광 셀(E1,E'2)의 적어도 두 그룹을 포함하며, 상기 중간 층의 광 밀도는 다양한 컬러의 상기 셀(E1, E'2) 그룹에 따라 다른 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
- 제 5항 내지 제 11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광전도 층의 두 경계면은 반사성인 것을 특징으로 하는, 이미지 디스플레이 패널.
