종래에도 비계용 파이프 연결핀 성형장치가 공지된바 있었으나, 이는 두께 3mm 내외의 파이프를 일정 길이로 절단하여 이의 양쪽 단부에는 체결용 안내로와 걸림홈을 형성하고, 중심부에는 별도의 파이프로 된 보강용 링을 끼워서 압착 고정한 것인바, 이와 같은 성형장치나 공법은 불량품의 발생이 많아 생산성이 저하되는 문제점이 있어, 이점을 개선하고자 본 출원인이 선출원 등록한바 있는 "건축용 단관 연결핀(실용신안등록 제 260675호)"은 3mm 두께의 철판을 절단할 때 체결용 걸림홈과 걸림턱이 동시 형성되게 프레스로 노칭 절단한 후 이를 관체형으로 접은 다음 이의 접합부를 용접처리를 한 것으로, 이는 공정단축에 의한 원가절감의 효과가 있었으나 용접 작업상의 난점과 접합부의 용접과정의 재질 열화로 지지강도가 저하되는 결점이 있었던 것이다.Conventionally, scaffolding pipe connecting pin forming apparatus has been known, but it cuts a pipe having a thickness of about 3mm to a predetermined length to form a guide and a locking groove at both ends thereof, and a reinforcement of a separate pipe at the center.
