Claims (4)
- 주사 신호를 전송하는 다수의 게이트 라인과, 상기 게이트 라인과 교차하여 화상 신호를 전송하는 다수의 데이터 라인과, 상기 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인에 의해 둘러싸인 영역에 형성되어 상기 각각의 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인에 연결되어 있는 스위칭 소자와, 상기 스위칭 소자에 연결되어 상기 스위칭 소자의 동작에 응답하는 도트 전극을 구비하고, 상기 도트 전극의 각각은 R, G, B 중 어느 하나의 도트 전극을 나타내어 매트릭스 타입으로 상기 R, G, B 도트 전극이 연속하여 배열된 LCD 패널을 구동하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,상기 LCD 패널의 횡방향으로 연속 배열된 각각의 인접하는 도트 극성을 정극성 및 부극성으로 서로 반전하여 데이터 전압을 출력하는 1 도트 반전 방식과, 상기 LCD 패널의 연속 배열된 2 도트 극성을 하나의 유니트로 묶어 상기 유니트에 인접하는 유니트의 극성을 반전 구동시키는 데이터 전압을 출력하는 2 도트 반전 방식을 혼재하여 화면을 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,m 번째 프레임에서는 상기 1 도트 반전 방식으로 데이터 전압을 출력하고, (m+1) 번째 프레임에서는 상기 2 도트 반전 방식으로 데이터 전압을 출력하여 매 프레임 별로 각각의 도트 반전 방식을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 m, (m+1) 번째 프레임에서는 상기 1 도트 반전 방식으로 데이터 전압을 출력하고, (m+2), (m+3) 번째 프레임에서는 상기 2 도트 반전 방식으로 데이터 전압을 출력하여 2 프레임 별로 각각의 도트 반전 방식을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트 라인의 증가에 따라 n 번째 게이트 라인은 상기 1 도트 반전 방식으로 데이터 전압을 출력하고, (n+1) 번째 게이트 라인은 횡방향으로 상기 유니트를 구성하여 상기 2 도트 반전 방식으로 데이터 전압을 출력하는 다수의 반전된 프레임을 구성함으로써 화면을 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
