Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for preparing an irregular-shaped composite false twisted yarn by simultaneously processing two or more yarns different in thermal characteristic without causing deterioration in physical properties are provided. Therefore, the method permits a composite false twisted yarn of two-tone color to be produced in high productivity with a single apparatus. CONSTITUTION: Two or more yarns different in thermal characteristic are passed through two or more heat treatment areas of a different temperature, false twisted and then air textured. For an example, a first yarn which is not heat-sensitive and a second yarn which is heat-sensitive are passed through a roller(1a,1b) and contact type heater(2) in a combined state and further passed though a first heater having a heat treatment area of a different temperature in each separated state. The heat treated yarn is cooled in a cooling plate(4), simultaneously twisted by a twisting means(5) and then air textured by an air texturing means(6).

폴리에스테르 혼섬사는 촉감 등이 우수하여 주로 의류용 원사로 많이 사용되고 있다. 폴리에스테르 혼섬사를 제조하는 종래기술로서 대한민국 공개 특허 1992-12850호 및 동 1997-43418호 등과 같이 가연후 신장회복특성을 이용하기 위하여 상대적으로 신도가 낮은 폴리에스테르 연신사를 코아사로 사용하고 상대적으로 신도가 높은 폴리에스테르 반연신사를 효과사로 사용하여 이들의 섬도 및 공급율을 적절하게 조절하면서 가연하는 방법이 알려져 있다. 또한 일본특허공고 평 8-1015호에는 신도차가 있는 2종류 이상의 원사를 사용, 가연함으로써 신도가 낮은 원사는 복합가연사의 코아사의 구조로, 신도가 높은 원사는 복합가연사의 효과사의 구조가 되게 하는 방법을 기술하고 있다. 이러한 방법으로 제조되는 복합가연사는코아사와 효과사의 염색성이 상이하여 최종제품상에서 투톤(two-tone)이 발생되는 이색조 특성을 갖게 된다.Polyester blended yarn has excellent touch and is mainly used as a yarn for clothing.
