Description
Claims (12)
- 박막트랜지스터(TFT)를 구비한 제1기판;제2기판; 및상기 제1 및 제2기판들 사이에 삽입되며, 액정분자들로 된 액정층을 포함하고,상기 제1기판은 반사영역에서 반사전극을 투과영역에서 투과전극을 구비하고, 상기 액정층은 제1지연을 제공하기 위해 상기 반사영역에 정렬된 액정분자들의 제1그룹과 상기 제1지연과는 다른 제2지연을 제공하기 위해 상기 투과영역에 정렬된 액정분자들의 제2그룹을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판은 상기 TFT상에 형성된 절연층을 더 포함하고, 상기 반사전극은 상기 절연층상에 형성되고, 상기 제2기판은 색필터를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판은 상기 반사전극과 상기 TFT상에 형성된 색필터를 더 포함하고, 상기 색필터는 상기 반사영역에서 제1두께를 상기 투과영역에서 제2두께를 가지고, 상기 제1두께는 상기 제2두께보다 작은 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판은 상기 TFT상에 형성된 색필터를 더 포함하고, 상기 반사전극은 상기 색필터상에 형성되고, 상기 제2기판은 다른 색필터를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투과전극은 상기 반사전극에 전기적으로 접속되는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액정분자들은 수평(homogeneous)정렬모드, 수직(homeotropic)정렬모드, TN정렬모드, HAN정렬모드 및 OCB정렬모드 중의 적어도 하나로 배열되는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 액정분자들의 상기 제1그룹은 HAN정렬모드로 배열되고, 액정분자들의 상기 제2그룹은 수평정렬모드와 TN정렬모드 중의 하나로 배열되는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2기판은 1/4파장판을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 1/4파장판은 투과영역에서 개구를 가지는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 액정층으로부터 먼 상기 제2기판의 측면상에 콜레스테릭액정(CLC)층을 더 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판은 제2의 1/4파장판을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 액정층으로부터 먼 상기 제2기판의 측면상에 콜레스테릭액정(CLC)층을 그리고 상기 CLC층과 상기 제1기판 사이에 제2의 1/4파장판을 더 포함하는 액정표시장치.
