Abstract

PURPOSE: A fuel filter structure of a fuel pump is provided to extend mileage of a vehicle to the utmost by using even fuel remaining in the corners of a reservoir cup when traveling on a slope way, with insufficiency of fuel. CONSTITUTION: In a fuel filter structure of a fuel pump, an end of a flexible hose(23) is connected to the lower part of a plastic pipe(21) communicated with a fuel pump(20). An auxiliary fuel filter(24) is formed at the other end of the flexible hose. Accordingly, if the oil level of fuel is under a fuel filter(23) housed in a reservoir cup(15) when traveling on a slope way, with insufficiency of fuel in a fuel tank(10), the auxiliary fuel filter is moved by self-weight toward the inclined side and fuel remaining in the reservoir cup is pumped.
