Abstract

PURPOSE: A scum strainer for livestock wastewater which separates solid waste and wastewater from livestock wastewater is provided to promote the purification efficiency of livestock wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The strainer comprises a housing(5); supports(1,2) and fixed supports(3,4) for supporting the housing; a vibration shaft(6) which is installed at the center of fixed supports; support beams(8) which are installed at both ends of the vibration shaft; a discharge screw(10); a cylinder type sieve body(20) which is manufactured by covering a sieve net(11) on the discharge screw; a drainageway(12) which is installed at the bottom of the sieve net; an outlet(14) which is installed at the bottom of front fixed support(3). The sieve net is composed of stainless with the size of over 200 mesh.
