Abstract

PURPOSE: An anti-burglar apparatus for a vehicle is provided to effectively prevent the vehicle from being stolen by allowing the vehicle to be maintained in a non-ignition state even if a burglar enters into the vehicle and tries to ignite the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An anti-burglar apparatus includes a remote controller(1), which operates a solenoid actuator(3) installed in a vehicle in such a manner that a key cylinder(5) is rotatably switched. A locking hole(7) is formed in a circumferential surface of the key cylinder(5). The solenoid actuator(3) includes a locking plunger(9), which is inserted/withdrawn into/from the locking hole(7) so as to switch the rotational state of the key cylinder(5). The rotation of the key cylinder(5) is determined depending on the operation of the solenoid actuator(3). The solenoid actuator(3) is fixed in a key box supporting the key cylinder(5) so as to limit the rotation of the key cylinder(5).
