Abstract

PURPOSE: A shock absorber and a locking apparatus of a maintenance panel for a truck are provided to absorb impact efficiently by reinforcing a spring to a rubber damper, and to simplify the structure by integrally forming the locking apparatus with the shock absorber. CONSTITUTION: A striker is attached to the upper part of a striker bracket(43) in a front panel(22), and the striker bracket is mounted in the front panel. A locking hole is formed in the striker bracket, and a rubber damper is mounted in the recessed part of a damper bracket(46) in a dash panel(24). A striker assembling hole is formed in the protruded part, and the damper bracket is mounted in the dash panel. Impact is absorbed efficiently by inserting a spring to the rubber damper. The structure is simplified, and process is reduced with modifying the front panel and the dash panel.
