Description
Claims (6)
- 제1 기지국 및 제2 기지국이 동시에 이동국과 통신하는 이동 통신 시스템 으로서,이동국으로 순방향 링크 신호를 전송하고 이동국으로부터 역방향 링크 신호를 수신하며 제1 전송 전력 메시지를 집중 제어기(centralized controller)로 전송하기 위한 제1 기지국;상기 순방향 링크 신호의 나머지 버젼(redundant version)을 상기 이동국으로 전송하고 상기 이동국으로부터의 역방향 링크 신호를 수신하며 제2 전송 전력 메시지를 집중 제어기로 전송하기 위한 제2 기지국; 및상기 제1 전송 전력 메시지를 수신하고, 상기 제2 전송 전력 메시지를 수신하며, 상기 제1 전송 전력 메시지 및 상기 제2 전송 전력 메시지에 따라 전력 제어 명령을 발생시키고, 조절된 전력 제어 명령을 상기 제1 기지국 및 상기 제2 기지국으로 송신하기 위한 제어기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 통신 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전송 전력 메시지는 상기 이동국에 의해 전송된 전력 제어 명령에 대한 제1 평가치(estimate)를 포함하고, 상기 제2 전송 전력 메시지는 상기 이동국에 의해 전송된 상기 전력 제어 명령에 대한 제2 평가치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 통신 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 기지국은 또한 상기 제1 기지국에서 수신된 상기 역방향 링크 신호의 품질을 나타내는 신호를 전송하기 위한 것이고, 상기 제2 기지국은 또한 상기 제2 기지국에서 수신된 상기 역방향 링크 신호의 품질을 나타내는 신호를 전송하기 위한 것이며, 상기 제어기는 상기 제1 기지국에서 수신된 상기 역방향 링크 신호의 품질을 나타내는 상기 신호 및 제2 기지국에서 수신된 상기 역방향 링크 신호의 품질을 나타내는 상기 신호에 따라 상기 조절된 전력 제어 명령을 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 통신 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전송 전력 메시지는 상기 제1 기지국에서 상기 이동국으로의 순방향 링크 전송에 대한 전송 레벨 표시를 포함하고, 상기 제2 전송 전력 메시지는 상기 제2 기지국에서 상기 이동국으로의 순방향 링크 전송에 대한 전송 레벨의 표시를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 통신 시스템.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제1 기지국은 소정의 시간 동안 제1 수(number) 만큼의 메세지에서 상기 이동국으로부터의 전력 제어 명령을 수신하고 소정의 시간 동안 제2 수 만큼의 메세지에서 상기 제어기로 다수의 제1 전송 전력 메시지를 전송하며, 상기 제1 수는 상기 제2 수를 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 통신 시스템.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전송 전력 메시지는 소정의 시간 인터벌 동안 상기 제1 기지국에 의해 수신된 역방향 링크 신호의 품질을 나타내는 축적된 메트릭(metric)을 포함하고 상기 제2 전송 전력 메시지는 소정의 시간 인터벌 동안 상기 제1 기지국에 의해 수신된 역방향 신호의 품질을 나타내는 축적된 메트릭을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 통신 시스템.
