Claims (8)
- 영상이 표시되는 반사형 표시소자와,비스듬히 입사되는 외부광이 상기 반사형 표시소자에 수직방향으로 입사되도록 상기 입사광을 굴절시킴과 아울러 상기 반사형 표시소자에 의해 반사되는 반사광을 관측자 시야의 유효범위 이내로 굴절시키는 경사면이 형성된 광학매질을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 경사면의 각도는 -15° 내지 -40°인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,입사각이 0°∼45°인 상기 외부광이 상기 경사면에 의해 -15°∼+15°사이의 각도로 굴절되어 상기 반사형 표시소자에 입사되고,상기 반사형 표시소자로부터 반사된 반사광이 상기 경사면에 의해 -15°∼+15°사이의 각도로 굴절되어 상기 관측자 쪽으로 진행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학매질의 굴절율이 달라지면 상기 경사면의 경사각이 다르게 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 광학매질의 굴절율을 n이라 하고 상기 경사면의 경사각을 α라 할 때,상기 굴절율에 따른 경사면의 경사각은,n=1.3일 때 30°≤α≤40°,n=1.4일 때 25°≤α≤35°,n=1.5일 때 25°≤α≤30°,n=1.6일 때 20°≤α≤25°인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학매질은 상기 경사면에 인접한 평면과,상기 경사면과 평면 사이를 연결하는 제2 경사면을 추가로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 경사면, 평면 및 제2 경사면으로 이루어진 패턴이 거칠게 되거나 파선 또는 불규칙한 선형의 형태로 상기 광학매질 상의 표면에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 경사면, 평면 및 제2 경사면으로 이루어진 패턴이 반사형 액정표시패널의 전극라인패턴과 평행하지 않고 0°∼8°범위로 각을 이루는 상태로 상기 광학매질 상의 표면에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 표시장치.
