Abstract
Description
Claims (7)
- 어드레스 회로와 편향 미러 소자로 구성되는 적어도 하나의 셀로 이루어진 쌍안정 마이크로 미러 어레이를 동작시키는 방법에 있어서,각 상기 셀 내의 상기 어드레스 회로에 상기 편향 미러 소자의 원하는 통합된 위치를 나타내는 데이터 신호를 제공하는 단계;각 상기 셀 내의 상기 어드레스 회로에 램프 신호를 제공하는 단계;상기 데이터 신호와 상기 램프 신호의 차이에 따라 미러 어드레스 신호 - 상기 미러 어드레스 신호는 상기 차이가 주어진 임계값을 초과할 때 제 1 상태를 가지고, 상기 차이가 상기 주어진 임계값을 초과하지 않을 때 제 2 상태를 가짐 - 를 발생하는 단계; 및상기 어드레스 회로에 바이어스 신호를 제공하는 단계 - 상기 바이어스 신호는 상기 어드레스 신호가 상기 제 1 상태일 때는 상기 미러 소자를 제 1 위치로 편향시키고, 상기 어드레스 신호가 상기 제 2 상태일 때는 제 2 위치로 편향시킴 -를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍안정 마이크로 미러 어레이를 동작시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 어드레스 회로에 데이터 신호를 제공하는 상기 단계는 커패시터 상의 아날로그 입력 전압을 나타내는 전하를 저장하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 어드레스 회로에 데이터 신호를 제공하는 상기 단계는, 각 비디오 프레임에 한번씩 상기 어레이의 각 셀에서 커패시터 상의 아날로그 입력 전압을 나타내는 전하를 저장하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 어드레스 회로에 데이터 신호를 제공하는 상기 단계는, 각 비디오 필드에 한번씩 상기 어레이의 교대하는 열의 각 셀에서 커패시터 상의 아날로그 입력 전압을 나타내는 전하를 저장하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 어드레스 회로에 데이터 신호를 제공하는 단계는제1 커패시터 상의 아날로그 입력 전압을 나타내는 전하를 저장하는 단계; 및프레임 신호의 활성화시 제2 커패시터에 상기 전하의 일부를 전달하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 전달 단계는 각 비디오 프레임에서 한번씩 발생하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 전달 단계는 각 비디오 필드에서 한번씩 발생하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
